Fantastic looking Hog! I just got an email from the FlightSimStore on this bird and I'm seriously thinking about grabbing one as it's one of the very few MilJets I really like!

I fell in love with it in the first minute of flying it. Last time I really flew the A-10 in a sim was in the Mac days, I forget the name of the sim but I spent a lot of time in cuba in that sim flying missions. I had to go for the 16 bit low res textures as my system is aging after I had taken these shots but even the 16 bit textures are fantastic...

I have been looking for ages for a plane that's not too fast, not too slow and has great visibility and this bird fits those requirements... Haven't yet tested out the weapons :-)

I think the game you're refering to was called A-10 Cuba.

My first experince with the simulated Hog was A-10 Tank Killer by Dynamics.
Here's a screenshot and the poster (which I still have) that came with the game. — Bob
