Thread: Aeroworx Forum Dead. New KingAir forum

Post Aeroworx Forum Dead. New KingAir forum

    Hello

It's all about the Aeroworx Super King Air B200. When the original support forum wasn't available any more some of us decided to start from scratch to give the community a chance and a place to discuss anything about this fabulous piece of software.
We had to start from scratch because unfortunately the Aeroworx Forum completely ceased to exist, thus killing the entire database. So we had no way to recover all the posts that have accumulated during the past time.
Now this is a private project, not an official support forum. But I'm sure within short time we'll have an impressive knowledgebase if you all help the community with your input, your comments and your information.
We deliberately chose a design that resembles the old forum, some sort of new home for all of us. We hope you enjoy it!

    Best regards

You know, if there was a need we would have been happy to set up a forum right here.

Something that never ceases to amaze me: simmers using (dare I say abusing?) this forum to redirect simmers to other forums. With MS flight simulator in some sort of suspended animation and X-planers living in a universe of their own I'm not sure the community is (still) big enough to sustain a plethora of flightsim related forums. Methinks that - up to a certain level - increasing returns to scale also apply to flightsimming websites. (of course, once you grow too big, the dismal law of decreasing returns to scale applies )

I appreciate knowing about as many flight sim sights as possible.
Nobody has monopoly/patent on flight sim knowledge, it's free.

In more than one way beside the point. This is not about "flight sim knowledge" (whether knowledge should always be free is an entirely different matter), but about "Hey you all at this very popular site, no longer waste your time here and come to us!". But in this particular case it would simply have been a win-win situation for everybody if they had decided to let flightsim host that particular forum. That's all I'm saying, no more no less.
