Thread: Big boats add-on

  1. Unhappy What happened to fs-shipyards.org

Do you know what happened to www.fs-shipyards.org, why and when, whether it will ever come back and where all of its products are still currently available? Thank you for your help.

Hey! I already have been on that site. But do you also think the website name just changed?

Neither the '.org' or the '.com' web sites have been updated in YEARS. They chose to just go with FSX ONLY ships and boats and now the web page is: https://fsx-shipyards.com/ . There is cost associated with having a site and there is just not enough interest, or new ships/boats so the sites go belly up (ie: due to no $ support). Oh well, that is how the cookie crumbles.

Well, then do you know where all of its FS2004 products are currently available?

You are asking about FS2004 in the FSX forum? So the answer is: IF they are available (which they are not)..not WHERE. So you are asking for the impossible. They put out a couple of free models (to drum up business) but the majority of their work was payware. When they went under they probably removed the free ones from all sites they could find. That's how it works. They probably intended to re-open later but could not get financing (due to low interest). So the files are not going to be put up for FREE. Deal with it. There are a dozen boats/ships by Erwin Welker here in the library. Search under 'FS2004 other'. Enter 'ships', or 'boats', or 'Welker'. Happy sailing.

You 'don't mean to' what? I don't get it.
