    Default Programming gear up/gear down on Ch Yoke w Windows 7

    I am using FSX in Windows 7 and am having a problem the toggle on the CH yoke to move gear down when pressing down and gear up when pressing up. By default it uses the down and just alternates down and up. This was an issue with XP and the fix was by removing the assignment in the yoke and entering the following in the control cfg under ch yoke:

    <Entry>
    <Index>4</Index>
    <Down>GEAR_UP</Down>
    </Entry>
    <Entry>
    <Index>5</Index>
    <Down>GEAR_DOWN</Down>
    </Entry>

    This is not working in Wndows 7 and I was wondering if anybody had come across this.

    Is there a separate "gear up" and "gear down" in FS? What about just assigning the same "Gear Toggle" to both switch positions? Not quite as realistic, but it would get the job done.
