    Default Real Flight Simulator

I am going to be in a real flight simulator tomorrow at Pan Am Flight Academy in Dulles. It's a BAe-146 and it's catagory C. Does anyone know what "catagory C" means? Thanks.

I don't know what the category C is, but I have been in a 146 simulator often. You will have a blast!!

There are 4 levels of FAA certification for flight simulators - A,B,C, and D. "A" is the most simplistic and "D" is the most complex. Both the Level C and Level D requirements include full-motion, full cockpit, and 6 degrees-of-freedom. While the Level C won't quite test all the capabilities across the aircrafts entire flight envelope, for all intents and purposes it's going to feel like "the real thing". I think you'll really enjoy it.
