Thread: Grand Touring Model...

    Default Grand Touring Model...

Bandit Enterprises are busy with the "top of the line" (most expensive) GT model of the Dreamfleet Turbo Dakota.

Here are a couple of progress shots of the panel:-

An additional 13.5 gallons of fuel have been squeezed into each wing in these touring models and the odd other mod have added a little weight.

The GT models will have to be individually ordered from B.E. and the prospective owners will have to own the required instruments. This top model is the Avidyne Glass Version.

Still a fair amount of work to do, but progress is good

Your modifications probably cost more than the entire airplane is worth!

LOL! ...That's probably true but there you are!...What else is an eccentric millionaire airport owner to do with his old age?

    Thanks Jeff...

    Finished the Landing Panels today:-

There's a Trident landing under that flock of seagulls

Took me the whole day for just these two bits!

I'm just a Lego builder really...Can't even paint! I'm sure that you know the paint job on my Dakota is by Hakan Olsson and I'm rather fond of it.

I was testing up in Canada the other day and it was so cold that I was contrailing on the ground...-29 degrees Celcius...I think Canada could do with a bit of global warming

    Jeff and Peter...

I'd love to make him stop... really I would... but in the words of Homer Simpson -

    mmmmm...glass panels and turbochargers...

Seriously Peter, you'd put a turbocharger and G1000 on the Wright Flyer if you had the chance. hum....

And to Lou! Glad to see your rear end finally hanging around here again! I thought I was going to have to fly up there and pull your head out of the clouds! (or remove a tire from that 210 to keep you on the ground!)

Happy New Year Peter, Lou and Jeff!

    Going into Yellowknife today...

You wouldn't think it was the middle of the day!

Visibility was down to 2 miles so I had to do an ILS onto runway 33.

Touching down on a very frosty surface.

After shutdown...The ToolTip at lower right says it all really

Parked for the night...I'll be on my way back to base tomorrow if the engine will start
