Exclamation TRAIN430 and Vista installation fails

    Hi all,

I am trying to install my Archer III on FS2004 running on Vista. When the installation reaches the point that it installs the Garmin Trainer, it fails with the error Access Denied.

Does anyone have any idea on how to overcome this?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

    Hi Nikos,

Possibly this is the same problem that causes problems installing the EXE version of the Garmin GNS430 Trainer in WinXP.

Instead, separately download and install the Zipped version of the Trainer, available from the realityXP Forum over at the Flight1 Forums.

Bear in mind that the GNS430 and GNS530 Trainers are 16-bit applications and do not function in Vista64.

Also ensure that you are running Vista with full Administrative access.
