Cool Vista 64 bit or not to 64 bit, that is the question

Anyone got any information on frame rates when "upgrading" from Vista 32 bit to 64 bit?

I have 4 Gb of memory so that would be the first improvement (64 bit could use it all) but is it worth the pain? (driver updates, application updates, update process)

    Hi

I've recently upgraded from x86 to x64 of Vista without any problem what-so-ever.

No driver problems or applications problems. No pain.

FSX uses my 4Gb of memory and my 4 cores on the processor perfectly well and most of the time I can get anywhere up to 160 fps. As mentioned in another post, i have to delete the FSG.cfg every so often as the frame rates drop to around 7fps. Dont know why and know one can tell me either. But a clean .cfg file works and it no real hassle to delete and copy over a good one especially if i'm going to get an extra 153fps!!!

Same here - no issues with 64 bit Vista Ultimate.
