Do you play FS 98 as well? What kind of frame rates do you get
on FS 98? Reason I ask is because I almost bought the Matrox M3D
card (I though it would run perfectly next to my Mystique), but then
a couple people on the FS 98 forum told me I probably should stay
away from it because it isn't the quickest 3D accelerator. I've heard
similar complaints from other M3D owners, but what do I know? I'm not
    a "techie" :-)

    Aaron,
Bang for the buck I am happy with both the Monster I and II. Unless your
system is pretty cutting edge you will not notice very much difference between
the two and I saw the Monster I in the store for $99.00 when I bought MCS.

Thanks for the advice, but that was a while ago. I did end up getting
a Monster card about a year ago to keep me over 'til last week when
I put a new motherboard and CPU in my system along with an AGP card.
I'm now running an AMD K6-2 333 (3D-NOW!) with 64 MB of 100 MHz RAM and
a Viper 330 AGP card...can't ask for much more today....love it! funny
thing is I haven't even plugged my Monster in to my system yet :-) Happy
    simming!
