Default Sneak Peak: Piper Dakota and Turbo Dakota

Delays always have a payoff, and the payoff for the delay in the Dakota is not only going to be the new Reality XP FLT and FLN gauges with dimmable lighting, but also the addition of the rare Turbo Dakota to the fleet.

Here's the VC's of the two and, obviously, we have yet to add the gauges, but that is happening as we speak.

The Turbo (bottom photo) has a classic, original Piper blue velour interior, and mine (top photo) has it's 10 year old Airtex interior!

Both panels are based on my Dakota, and are custom metal panels.

It's going to be a blast getting these up and running. I love the way the Archer looks but such anemic performance. There's nothing like power to make a kinda dull performing airplane much more lively ;)

unfortunately I'm on too many forums and miss quite a bit. :(

Looking nice anyway, I look forward to it coming out, but have to buy the Archer yet...

Been running the ArcherIII for some time now, and made a small alteration to the panel gauges switching the RPM and EGT gauges around, so that she now looks more or less like D-ELDC from Kassel Flying School...

Can't wait to see the Dakota...

    Thanks, Andrew.

I intentionally swapped the EGT / RPM gauges in the Archer III so that one would have RPM visible in the 2D landing view panel, a panel that many use.

Piper's gauge placement is stupid to say the least, and I HATE having RPM and MAP (the latter as in my Dakota) down so low on the panel.
