Thread: What's the favourite rumour about the 727 patch?

Default What's the favourite rumour about the 727 patch?

    Hi all.

I've been away for - ooh, years and years and years now. What's been going on? Has anyone got some good speculation about what's going into the 727 patch?

(Note to Mr. Golding, Mr. Betti, and other developers/producers: I'm making a deliberate point of not annoying you with requests for information!)

I can't think of anything that could make it more complete without involving a whole load of work, or going against Dreamfleet policy, or both. The KC-727 tanker version that exists only in my mind? The 727-X with Bristol Olympus engines? The 727-380 double deck varient? A cabin manager's position modelled in full glorious 3d, to make the seatbelt announcements from? A bucket full of crabs?? A flag to stick out of the cockpit window?

How about it comes with a free flight attendant. A 40 meg download, and you get to specify the options. Only problem is it will cost you $3,000 per month to get rid of her.}( Who says flightsim isn't real enough.

Maybe it'll be the engines? How about JT8D hushkit extensions? or even an UDF (unducted fan) testbed? :) AIR files that represent each of the variants from -9 to -17? Perhaps for the MDL.. the aft cargo/baggage door will be reworked.. or even the Kruger (sp) flap and LE refinement. Takeoff trim range/indicator on the cluster?

    Hi,

what do you think how far is that patch away? I no you won't give us a release date for obvious reasons but maybe just a rough estimate would be possible? Just want to know if we are talking about days, weeks, month or even years ;-)

    best regards

    janosch

p.s. maybe a fully into the 2d/vc panel integrated civa ins will be in the patch? Just my shot in the dark.... :-)

Chuckle.. yep am dreaming (and disinforming as well.) You know.. those LE slats(?) really deploy a good ways out and down on the real plane.. as studied and photographed at airshows.

For the trim STAB Trim index.. it came up before however I felt at the time - was making too much of a scene and wanted to deflect the issue. Have been going over the VC textures (optimizing for performance) recently.. here's the enlarged INDEX to present:

Did you already state that it's ok? and no need to change? If so then we can drop the subject.
