Default ATIS Temp. problem...

Hey all, The ATIS information gives my temps. in Celsius but I have the sim setup to read in Farenheit. The aircraft will display it correctly, but ATIS will ALWAYS read it in Celsius. Maybe I should just learn that 22C. is o.k. :-)

A this is always done in Celsius, of its that ASOS? I'm pretty sure that all ATIS is done in Celsius.

It is rather annoying though, because the way that I was taught to estimate cloud bases is based in Farienheight so I have to convert the dew point.

    Flying isn't dangerous, crashing is.

LAST EDITED ON Jun-17-02 AT 11:43PM (EDT)[p]All surface observations in the US are given in Celsius.

When you look at constant pressure charts, or data, you will be given fahrenheit. When you look at constant height charts, or data, you will be given celsius. Or at least this is the general rule (though not always true if i remember correctly) as i have been taught, that is if my memory serves me correctly. :)
