Default CH Products Flightsim yoke PC

In FS 2000 I used my hat switch for changing the view, e.g. left to look out left window, etc. I used forward and backword to change my viewpoint--eyepoint up or down. In FS 2002, when I try to do this, I go into assignments and set the first one to look left, and it works. When I try to set the second assignment, it says that POV0 is already assigned to look left. Basically, it's only recognizing my hat switch as one command no matter what direction I push it. In 2000 I could assign a command to each direction. I've tried re-calibrating and that shows no problem. (It says the hat switch doesn't require calibrating, just hit enter 4 times) I just installed the latest drivers from CH products but no change. Any help on fixing this would be greatly appreciated!

You may want to go back to default settings.
I had that problem when I tryed to set the
    different positions as well.

For some reason FS2002 takes care of all positions with
    just one setting.

    Hope this helps.
