Flight Simulator 2020 (after the initial setup), can be installed to a drive of your choice, preferably an SSD.

In regards to your internet speed...yes, it's a bit on the slow...

I think you underestimate the passion behind this simulator.

Also remember that FlightGear is a cross platform open source flight simulator... something MSFS certainly isn't.

I'm not saying that Mark, but it's a real shame people just can't enjoy what they have without the need to put others down. For one, it makes for a toxic atmosphere and secondly, puts a lot of people...

Like X-Plane, Microsoft Flight Simulator is (at present) being updated and improved upon. This is something X-Plane users have enjoyed for over 20 years.
