  1. I have live traffic on and also set the blank liveries to off, however I'm getting these if the injector isn't running. I modified the cfg files (Asobo ones, not FSLTL) because of this, so it was happening before hand. Still not got to the bottom of it.
  2. Hi all, Hoping I can pick your brains? I am getting blank liveried A320's appearing at airports despite having renamed the default traffic file and made sure the ASOBO aircraft.cfg are set to '0' for AI traffic. I have FSLTL installed but this is before I run the injector. To my understanding, there should be no airliners present until I run the injector. In game settings are: AI Live traffic - on Ground aircraft - 0 fs-base-traffic - renamed trafficaircraft.bgl.off Is the AI traffic live possibly pulling an aircraft through from FSLTL within the community folder? Thanks
  3. I don't specifically do multiplayer flights, but in the early days, I used to notice lots of other flyers around. turning the traffic nameplates on gave their usernames but can't say I've seen one for months.
  4. I used to see other online players flying around but haven't seen any for months now despite having the boxes checked in the sim and aircraft tags checked. Is there something else you need to do? I'm running FSLTL and previously AIG. I know the tags don't work for that but does having them turn the tags off for online players too? I miss the antics at airports! Cheers
  5. Unfortunately, I have the same issue. Because it uses live traffic, when I fly, there is less live activity even if I set the sim time to during the day. Airport ground vehicles needs to be set to at least 1 for aircraft to move I believe too, so just check that setting. The benefit of AIG is that it has offline flightplans that will link to the sim time, not real time.
  6. That's strange as I'm getting them showing up no problem with 'aircraft traffic type' set to OFF. Are both sets of files installed directly into your community folder? As Kingnorris suggests, traffic is quiet in the evenings when I fly most for FSLTL, but the airports are well populated with aircraft. I think Real Traffic draws on the MSFS own resources hence this needs to be off to use AIR or FSLTL.
  7. Thanks for explaining some of the intricacies that cause it to trip up. I like the user friendliness of FSLTL but a good development would be the use of traffic plan files that relate to sim time so it can be appreciated any time you get the chance to get online.
  8. I'm asking this as a genuine technical question, not a moan (well, suppose there is a moan too!) In FS9 and FSX, AI traffic was fairly well catered for and using programs, I was able to import models and edit flightplans, edit airport layouts for AI and it was a fairly simple affair to get a good population of traffic that flew reliably. Why has MSFS got more unreliable AI traffic management with all this previous knowledge to build on? I've got AIG and generally liked it apart from installing each individual package and crashed a lot. Can be used as AI offline to stay aligned to Sim time rather than real time which is important. Installed FSLTL and again like it, but it only has live traffic, however, easy to install I believe there are lots of idiosyncrasies in MSFS that makes traffic unstable too so these addon packages are constrained by these factors. Are there technical advances in MSFS that negate copying and pasting old style AI traffic management from FSX but as a result introduce bugs? Thanks
  9. It's good but only if you want to fly with live traffic. If flying in the evening which is pretty much the only time I can, I normally set the sim time to daytime, but the traffic is still feeding low volumes of traffic (especially VFR stuff). I don't know whether that was the cause or not, but two hours of flying last night at EGCC, EGLL, JFK, TNCM and never seen a single aircraft land or take off. There were aircraft flying around however with contrails, the first time I've seen them in the sim. Another good feature is if you leave the AIG folder in the community folder, it will fall back to those instead of injecting white liveries.
  10. Thanks, I had a fly around other places and things generally looked fine but what ever the fix Asobo are sending out doesn't appear to of happened yet, the trees around Rome are the blobs of green mess still. Cheers
  11. Hi, When the activity to fly over the Isle of Nisida was first launched last year, it was a spectacular beauty, as shown in the screen shot when you load the activity up. Since then, it's deteriorated bit by bit and now looks bald until you're right over it. Is everyone else having that problem? It looks nothing like the screen shot flying towards it and as you fly away, the trees fade out at a really small distance.
  12. I'll have another try later, but always update the drivers regularly. Strange one
  13. Has it definitely installed? I did one a few weeks ago and realised that it hadn't yet installed. Worth double checking in your content manager.
  14. I've tried that, but get no ATC voices at all when changed it to off.
  15. Hi all, Now and again, I get a message that the Azure voice thingyo isn't available and when it happens, I get English speaking accents which I prefer. If I switch Azure off in the settings however I get nothing. Is there a way of keeping the English accents? Thanks
