  1. I am having the issue also. I always know when I am going to lose ATC voices. I get a weird sounding female ATC voice. Then after she speaks ATC goes quiet. So no it's not just you.
  2. There is a topic about this in the PMDG forums if you want to read it. It's several pages long. No fix for it yet.
  3. Deek I'll have to try that. I was talking about the Colorado Rockies. A flight last week showed snow over only the peaks of the Colorado Rockies. The ski areas were bare. Something still isn't right. Denver yesterday had partly cloudy skies. But using MS weather the skies were clear.
  4. AA has one airplane painted in this scheme. Since AA and US Airways merged AA is showing a livery to represent that merger. I have seen this plane at KDFW. They also have a Piedmont livery. At least they did a few years ago. This is just my opinion but I do not like the new AA livery. When I think of AA I still see the silver bird with the large blue and red AA on the tail with a blue eagle. The new livery looks too much like a Greyhound bus to me. Check out this link to see more. https://simpleflying.com/american-special-liveries/
  5. Did a flight today from JAC into DEN. DEN was reporting light snow and 2 mile visibility with a temp of 28F. Started with Live Weather in JAC. Ground and mountains covered in snow. Got over the Rockies and snow disappeared. I flew purposely low so I could see the mountains since it was cloudy. Got almost to DEN and light snow coming down. But Rockies and the ground in DEN no snow. It looked like summer. After landing I switched to REX Weather and I saw light snow falling. The ground was also covered in snow. Temp was 28 degrees F. In my case the issue seems to be at Denver and over the Colorado Rockies. I experienced the same issue about a year ago only in DEN. Others reported it also at that time. It mysteriously cleared up one day. I thought about clearing the cache but not sure if that would fix it or maybe cause other issues. I do have AT&T Gigabit fiber so who knows? I guess for now I'll just stick with REX weather. I do appreciate your responses.
  6. Yes sir I am. I always load up a flight with the real time and MS's weather. Then when I notice no snow on the mountains I turn off MS's weather and load Rex Weatherforce. I then have the proper snow on the mountains but I also have it in Denver. And it hasn't snowed in Denver in a while. I keep Rex on at that point because my flight goes back and forth over the mountains.
  7. Thanks. I knew there shouldn't be any in Denver. I do have some snow today on the Western edge of the Colorado Rockies. But as I fly East the snow disappears and from the Central Rockies all the way East into Denver it looks like Summer. Breckenridge, Snowmass, and Aspen don't have any snow at all. This is using Real Weather. Rex Weather shows snow on the Rockies. Guess MS has it messed up again. Thanks for checking. I would try the MS forums but I never know where to post stuff. My posts are always being deleted or moved by the mods.
  8. Using Real Weather I have lost all snow cover on the Colorado Rockies. If I use Rex Weather I get snow covered Rockies. But I also get snow in Denver and other places there shouldn't be snow. Can anyone else confirm what I am seeing with Real Weather? I want to do some realistic flights from Denver into Aspen, Telluride, and Hayden Yampa Valley. I prefer Real Weather but I need snow. Thanks.
  9. I think his name was Daryll. I might be wrong on the spelling. But I believe Nels and I even talked about it years ago.
  10. I honestly can't remember his name. Don doesn't ring a bell though. I would definitely recognize his name and picture if I saw it again. I've been here since the late 90's if I remember right. I know it was a while back.
  11. I know exactly who you are talking about. That mod was the reason I stopped my paid subscription to this site. If I remember he had a motorcycle in his forum picture. And yes it is much better now.
  12. I am reading where some people who have the issue have uninstalled the USA-3D Photogrammerty Cities update. Apparently the Texas cities is the cause. I hope this helps. More specific Arlington is causing the problem.
  13. Mine too. I got away from this site and just started coming back. I mainly use the PMDG B737-700 and used to participate in their forums. But they have become too toxic with the regulars talking down to people just asking a simple question. I still like it here. I still have FS9 with all my addons on an older computer. I go back to it every now and then. It's old but there are still some things that FS9 does better than MSFS2020.
  14. Oh I was seeing the blurry textures too. But luckily mine are back to normal after using a rolling cache of 10GB. I know our settings are kept in the cloud so maybe MS has a bad save somewhere on their servers for you. I really can't think of anything else right now. If I come up with something or read about the issue I'll let you know. Sorry you are having issues still.
  15. I checked and my rolling cache was turned off. I turned it back on and set it to a high number. The scenery around KDFW and KDAL went back to looking good. Weird things in this MSFS.
