Great pics.
Nice pics. Amazing how much FSX has changed since release all those years ago.
Always adjust the VS for speed i.e. after take-off, flaps and gear up, AP engaged, VS set to maintain 250kts, after 10,000ft adjust to allow acceleration to say 320kts and after around 25,000 to...
........and how many "Windows" problems turn out to be "user" problems. But then we've all been there at some time I guess.
Agreed, great shots, although it's news to me that Supermarine made something called a P-51 ;-)
I always feel like I should comment more in this forum...............what a great set of pics.
There's also the Flight 1 ATR (developed specifically with ATR). Originally for FS9 and ported to FSX.

Sorry Noel, I did a few screen shot of before and after VC's, including the Mooney, but it was late and I got side-tracked instead of posting them! I'll try and add them this evening.
I'd be interested in hearing it Mark, especially given that zoom = 1.0 can't mean much else apart from 1.0.
The thing is Noel, the + and - keys don't do anything to the eyepoint, they just change the zoom i.e. at 0.5 zoom the outside world looks like it's twice as far away than it actually is. Sure it...
As a long time lover of 2d panels, I too prefer the VC these days. I would suggest that for those that think the instruments are too small, it's simply because you have the wrong zoom and eyepoint...
For some reason, I thought the default 737 actually had N1 hold as well.............not that I can recall the last time I used it though.
I used to watch these flying in and out of Southend in the 70's in BAF colours and living only under 2 miles from the airport at the time, there were plenty to see. I can remember when they were...
Very, very nice series of shots Mike!
Given that the thread is titled 'realistic zoom is FSX', I'd have thought that there is probably only one correct answer and I don't believe it has anything to do with having a wider view or whether...
As Mark has already said, assuming you have a widescreem monitor, you should add WideViewAspect=True in the [Display] section of fsx.cfg and use a zoom setting of 1.0. Any other setting is really...
I guess the fact you have a money back guarantee with the DC-2 would suggest this is the first one to try. If I get a chance, I'll post a shot of the VC as you'd expect to see it in use i.e. not...
This is likely to be out within weeks http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/58780-airbus-x-extended-preview-part-3-new-images-updated-features/#entry415375
Not sure how long for the FSL one,...
Aerosoft think their CRJ will be in beta by the end of this year.........http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/33966-aerosoft-da-crj/page__st__1360#entry398345
And as mavrocket mentioned, the...
Whilst not a DC-3, this DC-2 is worth a look and includes 2 different VC's, a ton of liveries and is based on the real plane at the Aviodrome.
...
Broadly speaking, yes. You'll probably get a better answer by starting a new thread and referring to which specific aircraft you want to do this with and for which FS version.
You won't be able to it properly, but I suppose you could increase the capacity of the main tanks via the cfg file and pretend it carries more fuel.
I can only suggest trying again. I've done the same using the CD to install to F:\FS9 with no issue.
Great pic's, spoilt only by the ugliness of that Porter :-)
Those are wicked metal textures Rui :-)
