Yes, the country would be the United States of America. No new scenery or AI aircraft recently.
Okay. Here is what I have found. I don't have the problem if I use a departure airport that is on the east side of the country. If I try to use a departure airport on the west side the sim will stop...
Thanks Zip. Sorry about the wrong place. I thought it was for FSX not the new FS. I tried your suggestion and that didn't work either. I can't figure out why it only happens when using the flight...
I have Googled this problem and could not find a solution that worked. Basically when I file a flight plan using default flight planner and have my aircraft located at the departure airport, the sim...
Have you turned on the pitot tube heat?
I used to be a member but it folded years ago. I think it may have been added to DVA. I fly with them now.
Google it. All kinds of answers.
Thanks for the reply. That was my first thought, but I have removed FSX from my computer including App/Data etc. I checked the registry and couldn't find any thing there. Any idea of how to locate...
When I fly using FSX-SE, after the flight I notice that I have many saved flights that are in my Documents/FSX Files folder. I have FSUIPC set to only save 2 in the autosave section. There are no...
No problem Rick. I can insure you that unless I add Delta to my airline cfg file, FSX won't assign me that call sign. Otherwise, I only get the default airlines. Perhaps if someone installs a certain...
Here are two photos showing what I have done. I just added Delta to the list.
Interesting. I just open the airlines cfg file in the main FSX folder and type in the name of the airline, save that and ATC will use that airline name.
No problem. I wasn't sure if the poster knew it was an old post. Kudo's for answering his concern.

You do realize this thread is 3 years old?
Thanks again Dogdish.

Couldn't uninstall it, but I was able to delete it. Is it safe to uninstall Microsoft Simconnect client?
Thanks for the tip by the way.
I have removed FSX from my system using the control panel and installed FSX-SE. After doing that, I noticed that I still have a program listed as Microsoft Flight Simulator X still in my control...
Thanks for that reply. Not sure which file has to be renamed. Are you referring to the original sound.dll file that came with the Callouts app? Or this file that I downloaded and put in the P3DV4...
I downloaded the file that I think would work and installed into the P3DV4 sound file, but still no callout. I really miss that on landings.
Thanks for the info evm. Would you know which one I would have to download and install and where do I place it?
Bob G.
Yea, I don't think the .dll works in 64 but. They probably should be a xml. file.
I have been using the default B737-800 from FSXA with P3DV4. Everything works fine with the exception I can't get the landing callouts to work. I installed a callout file I downloaded from this site...
found this with a simple Google search. Is it what you are looking for?

If I understand you correctly, you are saying that the sim will start with a "flight plan" that you had once loaded. You probably saved that flight as your default saved situation and now it will...
Thanks for reply. I did some research yesterday before I received your suggestion, and came up with the same conclusion. So, yesterday afternoon I went to BestBuy and purchased the GTX 1060....
