  1. Have you considered a hardware or cooling issue? Maybe not enough PSU for the video card? Improperly configured components? Failing drives or memory? Since this is not a common issue, I would go beyond assuming it's a software issue.
  2. After restarting the sim after the update, the second restart seems to have resolved the issue.
  3. This was supposed to be fixed in the latest update but I am still experiencing the issue. Anyone else having this problem or is it just me?
  4. As far as I know, the controls in the sim in its current state do not pop out with the display. I have only ever got the display to pop out.
  5. I updated Wednesday morning; it was the quickest update ever. There are no issues here. Must have hit a lucky time spot.
  6. Hi; For what it's worth, I would consider adding more hard drive space. My Flightsim install uses about 500 MB of space so if you are going to be installing that as well as your operating system and any other software you may run out of storage quickly.
  7. Thanks for that. I deleted the cache and bumped the LOD to 100. Everything else was set as you suggested. It looks good so far. Thank you very much.
  8. Lately, it seems that runway lights at all airports that are lit are about 50 feet above the runway. Not sure what would cause this as I don't remember installing any after-market elevation data or files. Both Europe and North America so far from what I can see. Any thoughts on what I could check?
  9. Interesting. I have a situation where I will fly to one destination and then return and I lose either the pilot's voice or atc on the return flight. None of the options above help as they are either unavailable or set properly. The only thing I haven't checked is under the assistance options that ropipo suggested. I'll do that next time I take off.
  10. I came across this video while doing some product research. Though you may interested in close-up landings and takeoffs.
  11. Good news for me. The Season changer is actually a separate download on that product and not installed by default. Think I'll give it a try. Thanks again for the link.
  12. Thanks for that link. It looks really good. The only issue I might have is the seasons as I use another product for that that does not work well with other season changers. Maybe it can be disabled. I'll find out. Thanks again.
  13. Hi jgf: No. That's being done in Winnipeg. Bellanca Aircruiser Restoration Nearly Complete Thanks to Historic Photographs - Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada
  14. You can actually book flights on some of these aircraft. I think the Lancaster is in the $3,900 range per person for an hour or so. The Dakota is more reasonable, around $250 if I remember correctly.
  15. I live near this airport in Hamilton Ontario which also happens to be the home of the Canadian Warplane and Vintage Aircraft Museum, It's a real treat to see the Lancaster, B25 and Dakota all flying regularly. Unfortunately, no one has taken on the task of replicating this airport. It would be really cool if they included the operating vintage aircraft. Here's a link to the museum if you're interested.
