  1. To answer my own question - As of today, Carenado offers the M20R Ovation, the CT182T, and the PA44 Seminole (as of 11/20). ** Not to hijack the thread but, I personally find Carenado's site lacking info on 'MSFS' products. When you hover over 'Products', only 'FSX/P3D' and 'X-PLANE' come up - no category for 'MSFS' at all (?). Yes I know that those products are available through Micro$oft Marketplace, but you would think Carenado would want you to know they exist - and what better place to do that then - say - they're own website... Carenado - time for a site update... **
  2. Ah...are these planes even compatible with MSFS... If you're gonna use old models in a new sim, well - good luck. You just may end up with...
  3. Yeah...GoFlight... Gees I have 'thousands' invested in GoFlight. They have dropped the ball big time. A few weeks ago they released an email saying their software is compatible with MSFS - but it is the same old software dated MAY 29, 2017 (????). And it ISN'T compatible with MSFS. In the meantime, the only thing I have found to get some GoFlight modules to work is PollyPot Software. It is a bit involved to set up, but it will run most GoFlight mods in MSFS.
  4. OK...inquiring minds... So this is what I found; Under 'Controls/keyboard' (make sure 'Filter' is "All"). 'MISCELLANEOUS'; - "SET PAUSE OFF" - "SET PAUSE ON" 2 separate settings - 2 separate keys can be set... 'MENU'; - "TOGGLE ACTIVE PAUSE" - default key = PAUSE - "TOGGLE PAUSE" - default key = ESC So there it is. 'Set' keys under 'MISCELLANEOUS', or default settings under 'MENU' with "TOGGLE".
  5. Isn't there a 'TOGGLE PAUSE' - say there is. What was wrong with - P = pause -->> P again = un-pause What we don't need is more keys to press - 3 keys to enable and dis-able 1 function (???)... Is it just me or...
  6. I hate to ask but...GoFlight's site seems to have gone away ??? Anyone know what's up...I hate to ask...
  7. Same here. It's just the 'Focus'...whichever monitor/app the curser 'focus' is on, that is the one getting input, and thus reacts. Of course there is a setting for sound - "Mute On Lost Focus". We need one for video - a "DON'T Mute On Lost Focus" for control inputs...or something like that... BTW: I'm running 6 (19") monitors forward - why 3x19" stacked? So I don't get the monitor bezels in the center of the view...plus I have them 'curved' so each one is at 90' to my viewpoint. 3 bottom with MSFS 'stretched' across and the 3 top for charts, maps and whatever... The upgrade will be something like Hobbitrocks big monitor...watch those refresh rates...
  8. ...I was going to say - until I saw the "time of day" thing, so this may or may not be pertinent to the O/P's quandry. I'll mention it for general info... I and others were finding that our in-sim graphics settings were reverting back to default, on every sim start we had to re-adjust our settings. It seems that may have been addressed in the 'Japan' update (but it is still early). What was noted from that issue was; 1. after making changes you would (1) save (F11) then there should be a (2) 'Validate' (ENTER). 2. NVIDIA Control Panel - in the system tray. If you're NVIDIA, MSFS can be/is optimized by the Control Panel and those settings may be altering the sim's ability to retain settings. ...at this point were still bug watching...
  9. I guess learpilot forgot to add 'BUT NOTHING WORKS CORRECTLY - FOR ME'. 'Cause I and a whole lot of others have had a whole lot of positive experiences with the sim, and I believe it will only get better with time. I guess when they say (whoever 'they' is) "Todays society expects instant gratification", they're not far off the mark.
  10. I did the 'Xbox Pass for PC' thing for $1 for the first month. Tried out the sim - was a wonderful experience. Then I purchased the Premium Deluxe version through the sim - and got it for $109.99 - not the regular $159.99. So to recap - I got to try out the sim for $1 - then saved $50 when purchased...I'm happy...
