  1. Mark and ussmidway, Thank you both very much. All sorted now. As you say Mark, I missed the option at the bottom, probably in panic mode then.
  2. Mark That is the best news this Christmas. On the site I was directed to for win7 it was only the 64 bit driver. I will start searching. Thank you.
  3. Returned to fs9 after a few years as I have more time and have been gradually setting up the system and even leant how to tweak a panel with help from Tom G. Thought it was time to upgrade my graphics so after looking in to this purchased an MSI Navidia Geeforce GT710 2MB. It says in the reviews etc it works with windows 7 so I thought fine. Installed the card, went to the site to download driver to discover there is only a driver for win 7 64 and I have 32. Not really sure where to go from here apart from getting a new PC. Obviously if the literature I had specifically stated win 7 64 only then I wouldn't have purchased it. Was having a nice Christmas til I set time aside to install this.
  4. Tom Thank you very much for the information. In fact using this information I have the VC sorted and pleased with it. I will hopefully look at the 2D tomorrow. I will let you know how it goes - many thanks again. Richard
  5. Tom I have been looking at the stock Cessna 172 that is included with FS9 and the 2d panel. It would be a start with this and if I could see what is entailed hopefully I can build on that. Richard
  6. Can any one point me in the right direction. I believe there is a way of scaling gauges to a third of their width so they are correctly represented when using a matrox triple head display. Richard
  7. Tom thanks very much - I think it must have been an age thing with me.
  8. Tom, I will try that later today when I get home. Thanks for replying. Richard
  9. I had purchased the above Matrox a while ago and thought I would get 3 monitors the same and try and set up the matrox. To keep things sperate I installed FS9 on an separate machine (Dell Opitiplex 780) that ran FS9 no problem. I introduced the matrox and I have played around with resolutions but when using Cockpit view spread across the 3 screen the circular instruments are as expected egg shaped. However whatever I do it is in full screen and I cannot revert to the screen with the menus options along the top that would enable me to select the views menu. Maybe I am having a senior moment but it is certainly frustrating me. Any comments or suggestions appreciated.
  10. Darren many thanks for the info.
  11. I have been doing searches on this and the Armstrong Whitworth Argosy. If I come across anything I will obviously let you know. Plenty of memories of travelling around what is now known as the Yemen in both aircraft.
  12. Did you ever find the upgrade for the Beverley?
  13. Robin Once again many thanks for the detailed reply. I'll try and not mess it up this time. Richard
  14. Stewie, that's perfect - thanks very much. Richard
  15. Has any one came across any Austin Airways repaints. I think they were based in Timmins and used to fly around Hudson Bay? Richard
