  1. That’s fine, my lips are sealed. Lol. as was stated, whatever makes a flight sim user happy is all that matters. I got a buddy of mine who only swears by X Plane. He won’t ever touch Microsoft ever. that’s all good.
  2. That’s right. and no need to drag users of other sims thru the mud either. (Not you, but some who have)
  3. I’m used to it I guess. Going back to FSX, after awhile if an add on had no VC, I’d pass on it. again that’s just me.
  4. Personally, I don’t miss the 2D cockpits. when I’m driving my car, I look around and see everything. The 3D panels simulate this, not a gauge cluster in my face. Just my personal opinion.
  5. Still having this issue, I searched and searched online yet again, and one thing suggested was turning off online AI. I switched to offline AI and was able to complete a flight finally. Also, it was suggested to try a different flight plan on Simbrief than the one they give first. (most common or something like that). I'll try that next. But after one session, the online AI seemed to be the culprit. For now, of course. More testing is needed, but for now, it's given me something to try other than reinstallation....
  6. I mean, default flight planning isn’t bad, but for those that want “as real as it gets”, Simbrief and Navigraph were both highly recommended to me when I first bought MSFS. I see both points.
  7. So what do you input as for example, the cost index? Just a random number? Performance? Etc? Just curious; that's why I use Simbrief. They select all that.
  8. I have the PMDG. You need to input fuel, weights, winds, waypoints, approaches, altitudes, etc. By using Simbrief, it's all pre-determined and it'll input the info for me.
  9. Simbrief makes it easier to program the FMC....lol....just "plug and play". No 15-20 minutes of programming each waypoint, weights, fuel, etc.
  10. Although I don’t have Pilot2atc, I’m beginning to think the waypoint issue is the culprit. I’ve done two flights now using default MSFS flight planning and no freezes. using just simbrief I got freezes at almost the exact same location every time.
  11. So…. using just the default MSFS flight plan, selecting the origin, destination, cruise alt etc and NOT Simbrief AT ALL, I finally completed a flight with zero freeze. Coincidence???
  12. It's not just the FBW, at least not in my case. Happens with my PMDG 737 as well.
  13. Never was an issue since I bought MSFS and my new gaming PC. (Specs in sig) Only recently has this been happening.
