  1. Yep no issues here either. Runs like a dream although I don't like the fact that you can't drag shortcuts into the Taskbar anymore but all in all pretty happy otherwise. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  2. There is an app already called shared cockpit from Flightsim.to I think. Haven't used it but you can give it a go. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks for the heads up, will save me a migraine. Sorry to hear your struggles, pretty disappointing outcome given how much WMR is a Microsoft venture. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  4. Same here also. Another server issue. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  5. He did mention his data setting was configured as unlimited. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  6. Oh and don't forget to actually note what you have done specifically so when you log a ticket you can describe what you have done because nobody can read your mind so you need to articulate yourself well.
  7. Have you looked on the help page on the Microsoft forums? If you go to the page that submits a support ticket you will be able to see if anyone else has posted this issue. The thing you need to do is ask yourself the question "is this issue only happen ending to me or is this a wider issue"?. Troubleshooting 101. Next you have to actually think about what has changed in your environment, for example, have you had any windows updates, or have you even checked internet connectivity. Simple things but important. Obviously this is not a setting in the Sim so you need to start thinking wider and look at what has changed outside of the sim and once you have exhausted yiur options then you need to send a support ticket that's what they are their for. Then in the meantime you can still ask questions to see if people can offer any help. This should help get you back in the right track. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  8. Lee, can you send me through a link to the mods (as long as they are not payware)and I'll take a look at them for you. If they are payware then can you take screenshots of the folder structure and post here? Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  9. There are also issues from the last update causing havoc and scenery not loading when it did before the update so this may very well be the cause. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  10. Hey usb777, I have been pulling my hair out with this new update with my own scenery New Zealand Flora (found here: http://www.aotearoa-creations.com) it uses custom shapefiles and biome files to represent New Zealand in its entirety. However, this new update has broken the scenery where it would at least load before the latest update, now it hangs at the loading screen to infinity and the gpu shoots to 100%, never did this before at runtime. Even after trying to re-engineer the issue through non-stop hours of effort I have had no luck but am 99.999% confident Microsoft have screwed something up with the project editor although at the time of this writing I cannot access the new SDK to recompile my project. I couldn't even run a project I built with the sim project editor and that's at the source so I would hold tight, as with all us developers, we are equally frustrated by the unknown extent of te problem. I will be making an ongoing effort to get the answers I need for my product and once I have more info that could be useful to all, I will share those. Waiting for the latest sdk to test with. 11. Hey there, Given that you sound not so savvy with the deep underbelly of computers I would suggest you download and use CCleaner, the free version is perfectly fine. This is a safe one click cleanup program I've used for years. It will cleanup temp and old cache files and should free up some space. Although, 500gb these days is far from suitable as there is an unwritten rule that you should not really have less than 10% at worst, of drive space remaining as you could encounter all sorts of weird things go on as you deplete the free space. 7.5gb remaining is not a lot these days especially with msfs having potential to fill up the rest of the space with future updates. .. I'm a qualified systems engineer. I'm a little interested in what your pc specs are. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  12. I've flown Sims for many years now and as I have flown real world I can say the settings are all available out of the box to refine the flight controls and sensitivities. I for one have modified mine to reflect what my experience is with flying Grumman AA1C, C152, C172, C182. All of which have significant differences, all of which can be replicated with the available settings. Problem is that not everyone knows the feeling and concludes the sim flight modeling is crap, but it is not. Most people probably just want the settings out of the box without changing anything which is fair enough for those just wanting to jump in and fly. I agree that planes are not being released as fast as airports but that just goes to show the complications between scenery development and aircraft development. There are many good physics improvements available from flightsim.to. If you decide to wait for study level aircraft you'll be waiting for a long time as there is far more overhead in designing aircraft, than scenery. I hope you find your happy place in MSFS and get what you want out of it. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  13. Hello my fellow simmers! . Here's some latest screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/MhI5MHM link to my discord where you can see development progress and get support. https://discord.gg/mHwGkwHf If you are happy with what you see in the screenshots and videos, and would like to support little 'ol me in my project then you can make a small payment of $12.99 NZD to grab the content. You can purchase here: https://gumroad.com/l/nz-flora-and-water All customers of my scenery will get free updates for life as they are made available. Hope this is an insentive for those on the fence. Also, I am working on a video and comparison shots for more transparency with what you are getting.
