  1. My Druine D.62 Condor (unfinished) passing Mont St. Michel (from French-VFR (free.fr) ) re-aligned to the UT Europe scenery.
  2. 12 downloads

A recently commissioned 62-turbine windfarm in the Bay of St. Malo. Written for FS9, using SceneGenX, from data published by the contractors on the internet. As usual, do what you want with it except charge for it Enjoy!
  3. Not sure if it comes under your remit, but SceneGenX under W10 now gives "Run-time Error '380' : Invalid Property Value" when trying to create a new scenery, probably after a recent W10 update, but I'm not sure which one. I had a hard-drive crash a couple of weeks ago, (fortunately all my data was backed up), but I'm still re-installing all my programs after re-installing and updating W10 on a new drive ... my PC is unsuitable for upgrading to W11, apparently Having established I could still load, edit and re-save existing files, I've figured a crude work-around by creating a "dummy" file, which I can load and re-edit to suit, but if you fancy a challenge, being able to operate "normally" would be a bonus
Excellent job A welcome addition to my home area!
Excellent job One minor comment ... there are very few buildings over two storeys outside of the town (St. Helier) area. Maybe the autogen could be adjusted to reflect this? Nevertheless, a very welcome addition! Thank you
  4. My installation zooms in and out in the virtual cockpit just by using the +/- keys, just as it does in the 2D cockpit. I'm unaware of any assignments having been set. Do you have the same problem with all aircraft? In FS9.CFG there appears to be only one line that refers to 'zoom' :- [KEYBOARD_MAIN] ... ZOOM_1X=8,8 Might be worth checking that it's still there, but I don't know what'd happen if it wasn't! If you don't know, FS9.CFG is kept in C:\Users\'yourname'\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FS9

    World mesh

    Nice explanation! Vectors it is
  6. Photo scenery always over-rides other types of background scenery, with just airport sceneries, buildings and autogen sitting on the photo. Might be possible to edit the Guernsey photo-scenery to mute the colours and maybe "green it up" a bit, but you'd need to make consistent adjustments to each bmp so's the overall effect was continuous. At least Guernsey isn't very big, so there's not very many bmp's that'll need adjusting
  7. Take Tom's advice ... disable EVERYTHING ... it's not unknown for rogue scenery elements to be accidently included in unassociated scenery and affect areas some way away. Just takes a simple mis-typed latitude or longitude figure and something from maybe South America or Europe could be trying to turn up in Illinois! I've spent several long sessions over the years disabling and re-enabling sceneries to isolate bugs like this.
  8. ... or even earlier, on a Sinclair ZX81 with 16K of RAM
  9. FS9 retro ...? Just my bit of fun
  10. Try disabling AI traffic if you've got it running ... there may be a problem with an AI aircraft operating out of this area. If so, examine your traffic files for appropriate activity, then try looking for excessively oversize textures in the relevant aircraft folders. Having high-resolution detailed aircraft is all very nice for the aircraft you're flying, but models being used for AI can usually be significantly less detailed.
  11. Another suite of libraries that has just come to mind is the UKVFR collection that was released primarily for use with the UKVFR photographic scenery, but was available for general use. I'm sure if you dig around a bit you'll find them somewhere
  12. I forget the details now ... it was some years ago I set it all up. I'd downloaded some of their try-before-you-buy packages for FS9 or FSX and those installers asked for the libraries.
  13. I just logged on to my account on the UK2000 website and the library was there for me to download for free, so it would seem to be still available as Common_Library_Package_3.74.exe As it's effectively part of some commercial software I don't think I can share it ... I just thought I'd mention it in case anyone else had access to it but hadn't realised.
