  1. It says there's a problem. Please log into my Microsoft Account. I do. I try to look at my games, it says I have no games. What's happened ? Any advice wold be appreciated. John.
  2. Solved. I realised that for some reason it was running in DX12 Beta. Went back to DX11 and it has run fine for three days now. There isn't any discernible diff between DX12 znd DX11 anyway.
  3. Found out the thing was running DX12 Beta !!!!! Went back to DX11 and been flying for 50 minutes with everything on Ultra
  4. This can't be a driver problem can it ? I have been using RTX2080i driver 522.25 for 5 months with no problems. Ah maybe the NEW driver Nvidia installed might be the problem ?

  6. I hate to tell you, but this didn't work. I followed your instructions to the letter, and I gave it time, I didn't rush anything. I have a HD indicator light which tells me when the PC is "doing something" and I waited until it had done what it had to do. When I selected MSFS it already had a tick box in optimisation. It said it was already optimised. I came out of MSFS like you said. I even restarted the machine. But when running the program again, it only lasted 1 minute.
  7. I have had exactly the same problem for 3 days now. It all started when Nvidia decided to update the G-Force Experience thing. Then I get a crash to desktop after 4 seconds of flight. Moaning about graphics card overheating and drivers and stuff. I updated my Nvidia (RTX 2080i) driver to the latest one. NO DICE. So I uninstalled all the other Nvidia stuff NO DICE. I have to run it, let it crash, then run it again in safe mode and it runs fine. But that means it takes ages to actually get to fly ! Don't know what to do next. It has run fine until now.
  8. Nvidia announced it was going to install the latest G-Force Experience update and I said OK. Then MSFS would crash in normal mode and only runs in Safe Mode (which is OK but my son says it isn't.). MSFS says it's probably due to 3rd Party add-on issues, but I don't any 3rd party stuff. I uninstalled the G-Force Experience, but it has made no diff. Ant ideas please ?
  9. Don't rate the 2 helicopters much. You can make them go sideways and they don't correct themselves. I can get the parking brake to release on the DC3 but then I can't ever get it back on again. The solo seat glider is nice, and the Beaver is lovely.
  10. Somebody said they had the World Update : Canada. Somebody replied "Really ? Are you sure ? Remember you have to go to the marketplace and download it. It doesn't just happen." I went to the marketplace and I thought I had Canada and USA X and I didn't !!!!! So thanks for that pointer.
  11. I'm sticking with dlss. True it blurs my guages, but I zoom in on them a bit. No big deal. I also haven't noticed any difference in frame rates or graphic quality BUT... My GeForce RTX 2080 Ti now runs at 66C instead of 72C. As we all know, heat is the enemy of electronics, and my graphics card cost me an awful lot of money, so the longer it lasts, the better. So yes, it's def dlss for me !
  12. Hello, 1). How do I stop the help labels appearing when I hover over switches. ? I don't want all aids turned off (I like auto-mixture for example), but these pop ups are obscuring things. 2). I've done 72 hours in the Caravan and want to do many more, but I can't figure out how to do basic ILS approaches. I simply want to do what I've been doing for 40 years, I just want (need) to do it that hard old school way. Just put it in the radio and fly it down the beam in foul weather but all the instructional videos I see involve RNAV. I don't want to do RNAV. I just want to do NAV. Can anyone point me to a video that doesn't involve all this RNAV stuff ? I aren't sure which model of Garmin is in the Caravan, but it's more advanced than the one in the Cessna 172. Any help would be appreciated......
