  1. There is no ESC from MSFT. I thought we all learned that in the 90s?
  2. I had no idea they allowed teenage trolls in this forum. And I suppose this goes without saying since it applies to 99% of us, but SU5 with the hotfix is working flawlessly for me (the performance has improved by 30% to 50% for me) and I feel absolutely no temptation to reinstall any of the obsolete sims. But enjoy your trip back to the 20th Century my friend! Hopefully you're running the steam edition of FSX with the fixes and that you are using Windows XP with your FS9 installation. Otherwise I fear you'll soon be using FS2000.
  3. I'm really astonished at some of the responses here. Telling someone without checking first to install DD4 RAM (that won't work on his PC and wouldn't make even a slight bit of difference even if it did) is not helpful. He's on a first gen i7 from ten years ago! That's not even close to meeting the minimum standards for MSFS: Here are the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 System Requirements (Minimum) CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or better. He has an outstanding video card that has no ability whatsoever to be fully utilized because the the CPU and related hardware. It is hardly surprising that he saw no performance boost. Even a five year old used business HP or Dell will give him great results with that card, but his current PC absolutely should not be trying to run MSFS.
  4. Yes. Let's stop feeding this obvious troll. Millions of us are enjoying the greatest simulation of any type ever made by humankind. If he really needs help, he can get it from official sources in that forum.
  5. I keep seeing references to "2020" all over your forums and homepage. The year is not included in the official name at all. Not anywhere. And not just because it is the worst year we have collectively experienced. This is a decade-long project and Microsoft does not want to be saddled with a name that implies years down the road that it is an old product. So they intentionally have excluded the year from the name. "MSFS" is easier to type, more accurate, easily understood and correct. MSFS 2020 is not. Please change your usage accordingly.
