Piles of Stone

Recommended Posts

As some, not all, seem to be interested in various sites with stones in them we're going to look at an example of stones stacked into a pile. Like Bob, they do pile it pretty high in Oxfordshire. In this case they've piled lots of stone in a fairly small area they called the pile Oxford University.

HA! All von Peerhovens are very well educated, so I appreciate these pics very much! A centre of knowledge in this post. Excellent my friend.:cool::cool: I ordered to create the famous "von Peerhoven Flight School for Natural Born Airman" in FS.

Hi!

Is the Oxford university scenery by default in FSX? Should it, there likely are a lot of other locations worth the flight :):)

Seemed to me to be an excellent example of a pile of stones!

There's evidence in this thread of lots of rocks! And some of them are on the ground!! ;)

Thanks to all!!

In German, they say 'ein Stein' ('one stone'), mehrere Steinen' ('several stones'). And 'Oxford' means ox ford, the place where oxen could cross the river!

In what depths of scholarship that Kentucky man brought us in :):):)

The correct original spelling from the Saxons is "Oxenaforda."
