FS Long Screen Recording Session

Does anybody know a good screen recorder that will record audio and video for a lengthy time (> 1 hour)? There are some freeware software programs I have tried, but the audio doesn't match with the recording for anything over a half hour. Thanks!

Fraps will do that IF you have enough HDrive space. 1 hour (60 minutes) file would be about 100 Giga Bytes. But your system needs buffer space (80 Gb?) because you DON'T have 80 Gb of ram. Fraps makes 'clips' of 4 Gb for each clip (aprox 2.5 min of video each). That would be about 25 'clips' of video. So you better have fast Ram and 200 Gb FREE on your HDrive to save all of it. You can then run the *.avi clips thru Movie Maker or Sony Vegas, and save as *.mp4 to reduce the move file size (by 1/30). Fraps always records the sound with the video and has never failed me (9 yrs using it) in that regard. This (ie: Sound) is where other SW (even payware) 'fail' due to the way they 'save' footage. Fraps breaks it up into 4 Gb clips and that works good for sound (ie: no corruption). Oh, Fraps costs only $37 and is YOUR Fraps forever. No 'issues' if you change computers or hard drives, etc. Happy flying and recording to you.
