  1. So, I'm running the same route and flight plan with the A320 and not seeing the same behavior. Perhaps this is a problem with the 737-8 flight model?
  2. It seems the autopilot does not maintain a consistent cruise altitude. Flying a 737-800 from LAX to DEN at FL360 with AP set to NAV, plane is constantly porpoising, with throttle bouncing from 22% to 78% every few seconds. Altitude varies from 35,700 to 36,600 MSL on the same (roughly) 20 second cycle. No beverage service on this flight!
  3. Still using "non pro" mode for evaluation. Having a couple of speed issues. 1. In AP-NAV mode at cruise altitude, indicated waypoint TAS is not achieved. e.g. FMC waypoint indicates TAX 455kn/FL360 - Aircraft climbs to FL360 but remains at 235kn. 2. When taxiing, the aircraft will accelerate to 40+ Kts even with the throttle reduced to idle. Have to keep tapping the break to slow down. Am I missing something here? I'm also really struggling with pitch/airspeed on final approach, even with full flaps and gear down. Seems very hard to slow down without leaving the spoilers deployed. Any tips?
