I've downloaded a 737-800 freeware which includes a honeywell Bendix FMC. I only have the default navdata on it. Do you engage the GPS button in order to get the autopilot to fly in relation to the data off the FMC? Is there any good tutorials to get a basic understanding of this FMC as I am only a beginner .

No it's only the default 737- I may have pressed the wrong button- the one that says APP- thinking this was the autopilot button.

I had flaps set to 10 and the RTO switch set to on during takeoff- I wonder would that cause the autopilot to behave this way?

When I take to engage the autopilot/autothrottle after takeoff- the aircraft starts losing altitude and plummets toward the ground. I had everything set altitude,airspeed, heading set before takeoff.

Got a few things sorted but still when I engage the autopilot at about 3,000ft- the aircraft loses altitude and drops to the ground.

Hi When I load up the default b737-800- it already is taxing down the runway and when I try to activate the autothrottle/autopilot after take off -it either goes into a stall or goes into overspeed. I can't seem to be able to control the aircraft. The same happens with the embrarer aircraft- but the learjet seems fine when I do this. Can somebody help me with this/ much appreciated.
