  1. It's assigned, but keyboard R does nothing. Neither does a method I saw online, hit R then ctl-numpad + or -. Is it broken?
  2. I reset everything to hard but I still get the blue and white CBS-logo pointer in the cockpit.
  3. Forgot Huddison, he’s good too. I learned something today, in my perpetual-beginner way: In the DA40 NGX mod (an excellent trainer, sort of a G1000 C172 with a low wing, which means you can actually see the runway turning base to final), even though the G1000 lights up, you MUST turn on the avionics master for the autopilot to work. I had some serious maneuvering excitement before I figured this out. :)
  4. Kip on the Ground, and simhanger are also really good. Especially recommend Kip’s “first flight in DA40 NG.” Simhanger is really good for control setup, views etc. And yeah he misspells hangar :)
  5. Have you ever watched P Gatcomb’s videos? He obviously understands what he’s doing but apparently doesn’t care if you do. “Okay, Hit that and that and that and this thing here (cursor flies furiously across the overhead panel) aaaand we’re ready to go.” Sim hanger is more my speed. Good stuff. I’ll check out your video.
  6. I’m plugging into a powered hub. Should I plug straight in to the PC? All I see in Device Manager is a bunch of indistinguishable generic controllers. Guess I could test by using it with Calculator though… I’m kinda slow today… :)
  7. Just starting to use MSFS 2020 after a year layoff. Thought I’d try a little USB keypad to control flaps, views and some other things. Unfortunately MSFS doesn’t see it, so I have no way to program it. Can someone please explain how to do so? Assume I’m “computer challenged.” Thanks!
