January update -- My flight plan did not display and was unable to use the flight computer to generate a flight plan
February update -- Everything came back for two flights and then I was unable to use the flight computer to generate a flight plan
March update -- Now I have absolutely no avionics, autopilot etc.. Essentially, I am grounded and cannot fly any aircraft.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Since the 1-9-21 update my FMS has started to destabilize. I cannot enter any data in the computer, my flight path does not show up on any displays, I pass a waypoint and it does not move to the next but continues to fly on the same heading until I close the sim.
This is happening on jet liners, Citations and the 152.
Am I going to have to reload the program???
My problems all started with the last MSFS 2020 update on 1-9-21. I typically fly the Cessna Citation Longitude. First I lost all my flight paths on the Gamin displays. Next I lost the ability to manually program the flight computer. When I bring up the flight plan on the computer there is nothing to display and I cannot input "origin", "destination" or "waypoints"!!! Now I'm losing the ability to control my aircraft during the landing. I've doubled checked all setting in assistance and everything is set correctly. Plus the AI atc brings me in too high and too close to the destination airport to set up an ILS approach!!
This morning I tried to fly the CJ4 and it does not display a flight path and I cannot input into into the flight computer either!
I seems my system is slowly deteriorating.
Anybody have any ideas?
I flight the Longitude as my primary plane. I did the 1-9-21 update and now my flight plan does not appear and I cannot input anything into the flight computer!
When I start the sim using the Cessna Longitude in "cold and dark" parking ramp location, I enter my flight plan and when I fly, it will not navigate to the flight plan. Any ideas?
I've set-up 4 manual cache areas on MSFS 2020. The 4th cache will not complete the download and continually pauses. I've made sure I've allowed ample space when selecting the overall cache space allowances. I've tried to go in and edit the 4th area but cannot get that to work. I've also tried to delete all the caches and they keep coming back.
Anybody have any ideas?
My computer sits right next to my internet router and has a LAN connection also. When I try to pick "Real World Weather" as an option, the program says there is a problem with my internet connection. Any help on how to configure flight sim so I can get the weather option?
Totally frustrated!!.
I've tried your fix and even re-installed program in a new folder titled "C:/FS9" and nothing seems to fix the problem.
Microsoft's forced upgrade to another version of Windows sure has me hot under the collar!!
Any other ideas?
I purchased this new computer just for Flight Simulator and I can't get it to work.
Thanks for everything you've done so far.
I have FS 2004 Century of Flight and I ran it on Window 7 or 8 computer. I purchased a new computer with Windows 10 and now my flight simulator will not run. Says I have to have administrator permission to run program. How do I fix this issue?
