  1. I'm guessing you will be aiming for a 172 with the 6 pack and other instruments? Most of the ones I have been in now have the G1000 Glass Cockpit. For the older type, you may see a 430 paired up with a 530, and a Bendix or GTX 330 Transponder. The GNS 530 is for Coms and Navigation only: Review: https://static.garmin.com/pumac/GNS530_QuickReferenceGuide.pdf and https://static.garmin.com/pumac/GNS530_PilotsGuide.pdf Some good sources for 172 Projects: https://cessna172sim.allanglen.com/docs/avionics/ https://realsimgear.com/collections/gps-units https://www.propwashsim.com/store/p/pws530-gns530 https://flightsimbuilder.com/products/gns-530-fs2020-campatable Avionics Simulators from Garmin: https://www8.garmin.com/include/SimulatorPopup.html You could also use a small Touchscreen LCD and run software such as: https://reality-xp.com/flightsim/gns530/index.html Good luck with your build, and remember to have fun!
  2. One of my previous videos reviewed Switches and Pushbuttons with LEDs, now we add Encoders with LEDs:
  3. Here we review LCDs of different shapes and sizes which we can use to display instruments or Gauges:
  4. Check out these great Hardware Add-Ons for Honeycomb, Logitech and Velocity One. Many planes and accessories available such as Flaps Levers, Throttle Levers, fully functional TO/GA buttons, fuel mixture, spoilers and much more! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYbeEjY1dPQ
  5. Quick tutorial on how to create a Garmin G5 and limited/smaller G1000 PFDs by using your Saitek / Logitech Flight Instrument Panels (FIPs).
  6. In this video I show you a very easy and effective way to add a Dual Rotary Encoder with a Push button to any flight simulator (Flight Simulator X, 2020, Prepar3d or X-Plane). Very few components are required but this project is also very budget friendly, and can be easy to complete with very little experience.
  7. Building a Citation Mustang cockpit, and I received these awesome and very realistic manufactured panels and switches. They have also launched their new G1000 units and I will be ordering them as well. I have posted a review here: Enjoy!
