  1. Thanks for the input. Looks like I will have to just bite the bullet and buy it again....or maybe I should use it as an opportunity and just go with FTX. Thanks again.
  2. Hey fellow simmers. I bought GEX North America from PS Pilotshop in 2018 and, as you are probably aware, they disappeared in the middle of the night some time ago and left no forwarding address. I now have a need to reinstall GEX and need my activation code. Flight One Software is telling me to ask on FSX forums for advice on how to retrieve the code so that's what I'm doing. If any of y'all have any solutions or ideas, I'd sure like to hear them. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
  3. Weird. All I can offer is to make sure that the controller you are calibrating is the correct one. My FSX defaults to the rudder pedals no matter what I am trying to change so I always have to change it to the flight yoke to make the appropriate adjustments. Otherwise, I can't help. Sorry.
  4. Came home from work today and loaded the CRJ up for just one more try just for grins and.... Go figure. Ghost in the machine I guess.
  5. My panel.cfg for entry for these gauge placement and sizes looks identical to yours. I have been back over this thread a number of times and everything looks right but it still not working properly. I don't know what to try from here. It is doubly baffling since I did get the installation to work correctly on the 737-800. No big deal, thanks again to everyone for their advice and assistance. Not to get all sentimental here but I must say that the spirit of friendly cooperation and concern for the problems of others on this forum is unprecedented from my experience. It just illustrates the close-knit bond that the flightsim.com fraternity shares and makes me proud to be an aviation geek!
  6. Thanks guys....so here's what I got. I'm STILL doing something wrong although now I do have something in the window. However, the icons for the panel are WAY too big for some reason. Is there some other setting for sizing the icons that I have omitted? Feel dumb cuz I add stuff like this all the time with few unsolvable issues but this one has got me scratching my head!
  7. Thanks again. Weird, but I just copy-and-pasted the OP's panel.cfg into by B-737-800 and it works like a champ so it must be something funky with the cfg file in the CRJ. I'll figure it out. BTW, playing around with the coordinates and size of the hot button for it I found that 412,448,20,20 fits quite nicely into your panel.
  8. I knew some extra eyes would help find some errors so I fixed the "WindowXX" issue but the installation instructions say to dump those 42 *.gau & *.dat files into the gauges folder (as individual files, not a subfolder). Anyway, I tried it both ways (putting them in the CRJ's panel folder and FSX's gauges folder) to no avail. The FDSFX.bmo file is in the CRJ's panel folder. Still no good. Thanks for the help il88pp but I'm still stuck. Appreciate your effort. sir.
  9. I can't figure out why this seems to load but I but when the panel comes up it's just a black window. I have been back over the installation several times and I believe that I followed them correctly but....???:confused::confused: Looks like a cool add-on. Any help greatly appreciated. Here's my panel.cfg for the CRJ-700. panel.cfg.txt
  10. Nice rendering but I can't get the engines to start. Tried everything. Any ideas?
