  1. As someone who lives and flies mainly in MN and the upper mid west, seeing green trees and grass in the Winter, is a real buzzkill. Not to mention open (non-ice covered) lakes, and all that. It seems as if the only time there is snow on the ground, is when it is actually snowing. It's March, and I haven't seen my backyard since early November. Is there an Add-On or Mod that provides MSFS with something other than Summer?
  2. Thanks for steering me. Nice options, but all graphics cards are Delayed, which isn't too surprising.
  3. Yes this is a bit of a loaded question, I know. Long story short, I am looking to purchase a pre-built PC (c.$2000USD), as with life I simply don't have the time (or skills) to custom build. That being said... For the last 6-odd years, I've used a (well spec'd) Dell XPS 15 as my work/life machines. These have never let me down, and are just rock solid. Hence, I'm enticed by the Dell XPS Desktop Series, as well as their G-Series. I've also looked at NZXT, and several others. And as the Internet goes, you can find Rave reviews for everything, while at the same time find horrid reviews for the same product. In general this is question of first-hand experience. Will the Dell and/or NZXT (Starter?) get the job done reliably? Any other pre-builts to give a look? I'm using my XPS 15 for MSFS, and getting about 13FPS (with usable graphics settings), so yeah, anything will be an upgrade. Thanks! -Brian Current Specs XPS 15 9560 i7-7700HQ 2.80Ghz 32.0 RAM GTX 1050
  4. Woohoo! Thanks for taking the time to update this. Looks great!
  5. Hello. A few years ago I found a place where you could rent (hourly) training simulators. These services are for currency, and professionals, of course, but were also marketed as something that anyone could hire (corporate events, just for fun, etc.). I'm looking into this again, and perhaps my internet search skills aren't what they used to be, but I can no longer track this company down. I believe they had several locations; One in Miami (MD-90, which is what I would really want), and in Minneapolis (CRJ's, and that's close to home, so). I don't recall if it was full-motion. Anyway, a bit of a long-shot, but I thought I'd reach-out here and see if anyone knows of this. Thanks! -Brian
  6. Seems like I offended you somehow. My apologies, @stempski . I understand fully that this is not (directly) a Microsoft product. Though isn't a view-from-the-Tower, a staple of aviation? This was an easy way (one-key toggle) to get a great view (no need to set-up drones, etc.), a lovely feature, not to mention quite helpful. One would think this sort of thing would make the cut. Perhaps I'm the only one who used it. In that case, again, quite sorry stempski, I will move on.
  7. I'm sure this is a dumb question, but is there a default, per-airport Tower View in MSFS, as there is in FSX? I can't for the life of me find such a key assignment or camera option. Thanks! -Brian
  8. Thanks. That was one of the first places I checked. Yes, hopefully the current Payware aircraft can be modified, without too much pain. It would just be nice to have an airliner that isn't as dauntingly complicated as what is provided, stock.
  9. Just curious if anyone knows if/when there will be an MD-80/90 released for FS2020, and which Dev is working on it. Thanks!
