  1. Best thing to do is go to YouTube and search for set up of alpha and bravo. There are several good tutorials that can guide you through.
  2. I had an odd situation come up today that I was able to correct, so passing this on to possibly help someone else. A short flight in my local area resulted in a crash to blue screen and auto reboot of computer. Each time I restarted MSFS I was greeted with the ‘Safe Mode’ screen. I checked event viewer and it was stating some sort of error in the Community Folder/AFC_Bridge/bin/AFC_Bridge.exe. Couldn’t figure out what was going on, all was running ok prior to this. Restarts of MSFS would continue to the ‘Safe Mode’ screen. Whether I selected Safe Mode or continue as normal, the end result was the sim would freeze half way through loading the flight. So, I deleted the HC MSFS program and AFC_Bridge. Reinstalled same and went to the Community Folder/AFC_Bridge/bin/AFC_Bridge.exe and right clicked, opening the properties tab. Selected ‘Run as Administrator’ and approved my selection. Rebooted computer, started MSFS (No Safe Mode screen) set up a flight and it loaded. Have flown several flights of varying lengths since and all seems to be working well. I’ve seen different cures for flights not loading and screen freezing. I really didn’t know what else to do. Just thought I would pass this along in case it would help someone. Happy flying!
  3. I made my initial purchase via MS Store. I can honestly say that I have had no issues with updates. It appears that when updates are available, I can download either via the update available through Microsoft store or in game update screen. I just follow the prompts. The key I have found is a restart is necessary after any update. Once I have restarted windows, all is well. Since the last hotfix, which occurred during start up of MSFS 2020, I restarted my computer. All is well. No CTD’S, of course I emptied my Community folder, and only added the G1000 update provided via content manager. I have enjoyed uninterrupted flights, at times one plus hours in length. The key being, if it ain’t approved for the latest update, don’t include it in your Community Folder. Flight simulation.to provides you with the info if it is approved with the use of the most recent update (compatibility) of MSFS. LOGGED 4 HOURS OF FLIGHTTIME IN C 172 and no CTD’S. My experience at least,
  4. As of the late evening hours of 7/27/2021, needless to say, I was really miffed. However, patience pays off. 7/28/2021, early afternoon, started MSFS and found updates available in the content manager, 6 to be exact. Downloaded all of them and rebooted the computer. Went to Microsoft Store, ah, another update. Downloaded and rebooted the computer. Then found a Working title download available for the Garmin in the Market Place (free), downloaded that then went to Flightsim.to. Yes, working title G1000, G3000 updates for SU5. Downloaded and put them in community folder, rebooted the computer. Opened MSFS and had a go at things. At first, a couple CTD’S, Checked settings and the only thing I changed was turning vsync on and setting frames rate at 60 FPS. Closed MSFS, rebooted computer. Opened MSFS, Had four successful flights. No stutters, no CTD’S, smooth flights and everything appears to be working as it did prior to SU5. I guess the moral of the story is…patience and persistence. Hope others are having success as well.
  5. It is not my intent to be over critical, but if anyone (business or personal) sent you something you didn’t order, why would you install it on your computer? If you had FSX on your computer when you did this, your files were probably overwritten causing your problem you now have.

My specs are similar, the i7 9700K is oc’d to 4.9, 32 GB Ram and a 2070 Super. I run P3D 4.5 and MSFS at 4K on a Samsung 55” QLED and the system works great.
  7. Hi! First off, make sure the 172 is up to date. Always load a default aircraft, then select the A2A 172. If this is not working for you, go to the A2A forums and explain your problem. There are many that can help you. A2A has the best support I’ve ever seen, they will help get you sorted out. I’ve encountered issues here and there, I have several of their aircraft and have only used their forum for getting back to flying. To do it any other way is like trying to buy a brand new Ford at a Volkswagen dealer, just doesn’t make any sense.
  8. While in the simulator flying, go up to the tool bar and open the camera settings window. Providing you set the CH hat switch up properly for ‘POV’ views, adjust the free look speed settings (both) to your liking. I believe the default is 50 for both. I find the free look speed setting I like is 25 and the free look setting below that (momentum or something like that) at 30. You can do the same for the external free look settings. Made a huge difference for me. You should notice a big difference. Good luck!
  9. You are quite welcome! I agree, you would think that they would have included CH products so they would be recognized, but they didn’t. Just a tip, also search for sensitivity settings on YouTube. I know I ran across a couple of video regarding those as well, could have been Squirrel, but not sure. Once you get the controls set up, you should set the sensitivity of each axis. Use what is recommended, but adjust from there to suit how it feels to you. Good luck!
  10. Search YouTube for ‘Squirrel’. He has done numerous videos regarding many different MSFS 2020 things. Type ‘Squirrel MSFS 2020’ into the YouTube search bar. In the results you’ll see ‘Tutorial #2 Periphial Controls setup. That helped me out in setting up my CH Yoke and Pedals. I used my iPad to play the video so I could follow along with him, you can pause while you set up each part of your controls.
  11. I’ve had CH yoke and Rudder pedals. Be prepared to manually set things up on your own under controls. Watch Squirels video #2 on YouTube, setting up periphials. Helped me .
  12. You could even call Jetline systems and talk with anyone there. They were very helpful when I called. 1-888-695-3854 No pressure to buy, very knowledgeable regarding flight sim systems.
  13. I just received my new pc. The specs are pretty much the same (cpu/gpu), Ram is at 32gb and power supply a 750 watt. P3D v4.5xxx runs super! Bought rig from Jetline Systems. Very professional and a wonderful group of guys to work with! It’s the GT2.
  14. Happy New Year to everyone! may the new year be prosperous for all. Good Luck and Be Safe!
  15. Merry Christmas to everyone! Enjoy a safe and Happy Holiday Season! Be Safe!
