  1. After the reinstal it seems to work, flew from MYAK toKTPF direct and no issues noted. no 3rd party anything. I'll start solw and use Logi for MSFS controller 64 fpr my Logi yoke and throttle system. From there I'll try to set up my Navigraph flight system data and go from there. Any help is appricated. Happy Flyin yall.... Adog sends
  2. I tried to change to DX11, no joy. I found something on a search to deleate the file, so I did and its not a good idea. I will have to reinstall MSFS now... SNAP....
  3. for 3 weeks or now I get a CTD. This is what I find in event viewer. I've tried removing all third party aps, starting in safe mode and it still happens. It's random when it happens, but it always freezes before it crashes and doesn't happen after take off. It either happens just before I hit fly now or after landing and I try to set up another flight. I find it doesn't happen as often if I open the app, check something like my flight log or content manager then close out to the desktop and restart the app. any ideas to help is greatly appreciated. 4. I went thru Steam and have next to no issues. It uses my gmail account for login too.
  5. I haven't gone VR yet, I do have trackIR 5 and like that. your rig is good, if I were to change anything I'd get a newer video card like the Nvidia 4000 series. Hope this helps... Happy Flyin
  6. I updated the driver and didi a flight from FD38 to KTPF with no issues. Here is what I did, after the nivida update and reboot I opened the NVIDIA GeForce Experience at the home page and I optimized the settings, rebooted again and thin ran MSFS until it is at the page where you can start a free flight, at this point I close to my desktop and and restart MSFS and set a flight. 7. Try here... C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX That is where it is on my PC, hope that helps.
  8. Honus what error code did you receive after the disc instal. I ran into this same problem after I upgraded to Win 11.
  9. Last nights flight is there but not my landing... I guess thats a start! Happy flyin y'all
  10. My log book stopped recording my flights on 27 Sep 23. I hoped it would have been fixed in this last update as it was mentioned. I have a message with zendesk.
  11. I thank you for your idea but I have to say no it didn't work. What has worked on the 172 and the 208 has been I choose the departure airport on the world map the start the flight. Just after take off I'll do a direct flight to my desired airport. The 172 will pickup nav and I control my alt and speed. The 208 sometimes gets nav and other times I have to on my own. I still can't get the tbm to fly right. I have tried the exact flight in the you tube video and found the ground not long after take off... Happy Flyin.... AD
  12. Before I did the update I moved everything to a community folder in my docs, normal sop for me
  13. Just after the AAU2 update I had to instal MSFS from scratch, almost 8 hours with steam. This was at the advice of Zendesk as it wasn't opening up just freezing on the mainn startup window. I Did and found out I couldn't fly with the AP and now you know the rest... (or I think you do) AD
