  1. Looks like they'll need a C-5 to haul Kelly McGillis around!
  2. Yea - this one you're on! What Nels said!
  3. It's complicated. However, in FSX if you are using the latest ADE from Scruffy Duck, you can (if you want) open the airport file, look and see if ILS/DME is checked. If it's not, you can check it and set the range for the DME. You'll need to compile your changes and save it in the addon scenery for that particular airport. This will give you the ability to see distances on your DME equipment. May not be right (maybe the airport doesn't have dme) but it certainly works if you want to measure distances to the runway.
  4. Roger - There's always google earth that may even be better than photo's someone takes. By the way, love your sceneries!
  5. If you want to keep that panel, then that may be your only option. Otherwise you could replace the panel with one you know works and is to your liking.
  6. I would look towards the panel. One of your gauges may be causing this. Switch out panels just as a test and see if that fixes your problem. If not, I don't where else it could be.
  7. Too many people are totally impatient nowadays. Did you really think they were going to leave it like that? The market is too competitive for Mozilla to leave this alone. They had it fixed in one day. I can just imagine all of the people who were dancing on one leg and pissing down the other........
  8. For all you helicopter enthusiasts, have you ever noticed that the main rotor and rear rotor spin ass backwards (clockwise) on the Gmax Bell 430 for Fs2004 and FSX by Alan Devins and Rory Kelly, Finished off by Keith Devins ? Go to your exterior (spot) view and do a Ctrl+shift+f4 which will start the rotor's spinning and watch the rotation of how they start. Just an observation for you designers. Glad it's freeware! Wonder how many payware helo's there are such as this that no one notices? Like I said just an observation. It flies well once you tune it up!
  9. Well I guess we can consider you retired then. That's not going to happen anytime soon! Sorry!
  10. This is an interesting guage. I don't know about FSX but it does perform very well in FS2004. Thank you for this! It was exactly what I was looking for to complete a panel on a favorite aircraft of mine.
  11. It all depends on whom you may be trying to impress; yourself or an audience!
  12. slavamirin - You simply can't download these textures, It's not freeware! You have to make a contribution to Sascha66 and then he will send you a link. No contribution, no link. Sorry!
