Coming from years of playing FSX, when I fly FSX, I pay more attention to my flying skills. Now I am attracted by the much more beautiful scenery in FS2020 and started to pay less attention in flying. I want to see maximum scenery with real instruments on top. I can do that in 2D FSX by overlay instruments on outside view. FS2020 doesn't allow me to overlay real instrument on outside camera. If I switch to outside camera, my instruments look totally different than inside view. I wish to get back the FSX way - real instrument on outside view.

I tried to download the sim last night. Ran into many issues downloading. Downloader stops responding saying authenticating. I kill it, uninstall the Flight Sim and tried again. Then downloader stop responding at about 2 GB. I kill it and launch again. This happens 2 more times. Many times the downloader do not open but I keep trying. Surprisingly installation finished successfully this morning. The sim works. Installation is on d:\flightsim.

I added an extra monitor to display instruments. This is not a physical monitor. It is a tablet which is connected to the PC via Wifi as virtual monitor. I install the Spacedesk apps on both pc and my Android tablet. It is very responsive if Wifi is good. The size of tablet is good for instruments. Touch screen gives a feeling of touching the buttons on the instrument. I recommend at least a 10 inch tablet. I display 3 instruments on it. https://spacedesk.net/
