  1. The zip file I have is the FSX one and I will have a look at the cfg file and see if I have them. If I do, should I edit the vertical speed time and pilot static sections, the ones you mentioned above?
  2. I've tried both methods mentioned above, but it doesn't change the pitching issues, is there another way to solve this issue?
  3. Sorry for the late reply guys but thank you all for your replies, I appreciate it, I've been busy with uni past few days but I will test the aircraft now and see if things have changed
  4. Hey guys so I've been using the Stratojet Excalibur plane on the steam version of FSX. However the plane's pitch isn't stable at higher and cruising altitudes, and I'm wondering if there's a way to solve this by changing anything in the aircraft cfg file? And if so, how do you do so?
  5. I bought a joystick in the meantime as recommended earlier on in the post, which has worked well but I will follow the advice above in order to possibly use the controller again in the future. I'm grateful for everyone who replied, thank you to you guys!
  6. Given the situation as mentioned above, is there any other way to solve this issue?
  7. It's a wired controller and yep it shows up but it doesn't make a difference in the game except I can move the joystick on the controller within the cockpit and certain views etc
  8. I've tried changing settings on steam and identifying the controller and so on but it doesn't work, the controller won't even be identified, it just shows up as unregistered
  9. I've reset them to default but how do you go about setting them? I've also tried connecting it through steam but it hasn't helped at all
  10. Are you sure about that? I've used this controller on another laptop with FSX and it worked fine
  11. Hey guys, so I bought a new laptop yesterday and immediately installed FSX on steam, but I can't get my old Xbox 360 type controller to work with it. I've tried updating drivers for it and resetting defaults for the controller which shows up on FSX and shows as being connected to my laptop, but it hasn't worked at all. Is there any way to enable the controller to work?
