  1. I second your comments. I got mine done this morning and it was flawless!
  2. This might help. You need to calibrate the throttle using the flight pad. Several tutorials are available on YouTube, so do a quick search.
  3. Don’t forget to download World Update VI (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).
  4. Mine works this way. 1. I press the R-key. 2. I HOLD the ALT-key and press + on the Number Pad. I press it 1, 2, or 3, etc. Make note of how many times you press it. 3. To get back to normal speed, I press R-key, and then HOLD ALT-key and - on the Number Pad. 4. The ALT-key on the right does not work on mine. Nothing happens whenever I press ALT-key on the right. So, I use the ALT-key on the left. 5. It works for me on a Logitech MX Wireless keyboard.
  5. Sorry about that. In the future, perhaps, wait a day or two before downloading the updates. Apparently the latest hotfix update must be done through the MSFS App in the Store, not through the Sim. That is my understanding after the first wave of downloading. If you wait a bit longer you may get better clarification on how to go about applying any of the updates in the future. There are folks here who share a great deal of useful information to help everyone.
  6. Here is a suggestion. Take a look at Huddison's Part 1 & 2 joystick calibration instructions. Afterwards you will be able to calibrate by yourself. If you want more, here is another one to watch. Sam
  7. Could it be bad timing or a situation one finds at regional airports? A case in point at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (KMHT). After requesting pushback at the gate, ATC said there is no pushback available. It seems unusual to me. Sam
  8. Another minor trick is when the (APP) is engaged and you see no movement, do a quick toggle between NAV1 and NAV2, (from NAV1 to NAV2 and back to NAV1 in quick succession). I had a similar situation twice. Sam
  9. You could also remove POI and/or add POI depending on your flight and area of interest. This video helped me a bit. Sam
  10. Patience is all I can say. I have had it for only three weeks, and I am impressed overall (coming from FS9). Yes, I understand the frustrations and steep learning curve challenges. It is not perfect but manageable while the incremental bug fixing will bring it closer to what we want in a simulation. Don’t give up yet!
  11. Take a look at these three videos. You may find one to be useful. Sam
  12. Thanks, Robin. Your instructions are timely as I just installed a new hard drive in April 2020. Luckily for me, I am able to retrieve all data on the dead hard drive.
