  1. It wasn't reason #1. Try doing a file search for "gipsy moth" in the FSX section. I got the message for FSX Gipsy Moths N1510V, G-AAVJ, NC917M, and NC919DH. Then I stopped. Screengrabs zipped as attachment. So links off this forum do not appear to be working as you think, at least from this side of the pond. I'm sure we'll get there in the end, but that may be a bit further down the road. Have there been mass file removals by authors? Fsim_fails.zip
  2. Thanks for the advice guys and the link to the previous post. I had tried a search before posting but that had not come up with the search criteria that I used. Off to delve under the hood of video drivers etc. Cheers, Allan
  3. I am increasingly running into an occasional problem with the FSX window disappearing while loading. The info box showing the percentage scenery files etc which have been loaded remains in the middle of the screen but the main FSX window disappears into the bottom bar - and stays there. When the scenery loading reaches 100% that info window disappears and I am left with the desktop and the sound of the aircraft engine running in the sim. But no amount of "alt tab" or clicks on the FSX button on the bottom bar will coax FSX back into view. This can happen when loading pre-saved flights as well as when creating a new flight. Any suggestions - apart from dust off my copy of P3D and go through the angst of loading scenery and a/c for the next few weeks! Cheers, Allan
