  1. Hi, For me, with SU9, it seems that the issue of not being able to Arm the Spoilers so that they deploy automatically upon touchdown has been fixed. Yay! Also, the issue of the scoring not updating correctly for the Challenges, seems to also be fixed (at least in my case). They seem to be updating correctly for the Challenges that 've tested so far. In my case, this one was a "good update", so far. Thanks MS/Asobo. Mario
  2. Hey DaddyTim, I did try that also on all my jets, but did not have the same luck that you did. For me they never deployed upon landing even if I armed them manually using the mouse prior to landing. But thanks for the input anyway. Regards. Mario
  3. Hi stinger2ka, Thanks for the tip. That's exactly the most probable reason. Glad yours still works. Hopefully, MS will correct this. I created a bug ticket at Zendesk. Rgds. Mario
  4. Hi stinger2k2, Yes, all MS2020 aircraft that have the speed brake arming feature (Longitude, A-320, B-787, B747). No matter what button I bind this feature to, it's no longer works after SU8. I have also heard from others having the same issue. Mario
  5. Hi, After updating to SU8, all Speed Brake Arming has been disabled. I tried assigning it to: Toggle Spoilers, Toggle Arm Spoilers, Set Auto Spoilers Arming, and Arm Auto Spoilers, and none work! Under SU7, I had it assigned to: Set Auto Spoilers Arming, and it worked perfectly. Not After SU8 though. I've tried everything I know w/o any success. Anyone having the same issue or have any suggestions? I'm running the Bravo Throttle Quad & the TCA Boeing Quad. Thanks. Mario
  6. Hi mrzippy, Thanks for the input. Yes, I am aware of this other thread. In fact it solved my problem back then. Once I completed several Senic Flights & Other Lessons, I was able to see the NAS option on my opening screen. That's why I don't understand why it disappeared again. Someone on another forum suggested that this was a Temporary Event Challenge and that it is now over. That's why I posted this thread asking if 'everyone' had lost this Option on the opening screen after the WU7 update. This would confirm that it was indeed a temporary event. Thanks Mario
  7. Hi, After updating WU7, I noticed that the NAS Miramar F-18 Challenge disappeared from my Main Opening Page. Wondering if this has happened to anyone also. Thanks. Mario
  8. After SU5, the V1 callout on all airliners seem to be broken. It no longer works at around 135kts during the T/O roll. Now, it sometimes sounds out after you've been in the air a couple of minutes and are doing 230-250kts. Anyone else seen this on their sim? Thanks.
  9. Hi Miahflyer, I found on the MS Official Forum under General Discussion how to install the Hotfix. It worked for me like a charm. I too, couldn't get it to show up like all the previous update.....go figure.... It was posted BY: CalUKGR. And the Title was: "Discussion+Poll Hotfix 1.18.14.0 General Discussion" Sorry, I don't remember exactly on what day. But it worked for me. Check it out.
  10. After updating toSU5, I lost throttle #1 in all aircraft and all throttle power in all single engine aircraft. Oddly, the only aircraft that was spared from this was the last aircraft I flew before updating to SU5. It was the B-747.( although, the B-747 now does not announce the V1 callout at 135Kts anymore ,it announces it after I've been in the air a couple of minutes.) As far as throttle #1, I also see the throttle in the cockpit advance, but the power doesn't spool up. When I go to the the Controls section, everything also appears normal and all my Profiles are there and when I test them, they all work perfectly. I do notice, however, that in the B-787, the fuel cutoff switch is in the OFF position, as well as the start switch in the Overhead panel is stuck on 'Start' instead on 'Normal' for engine 1. No matter what I do, I cannot get it started. I really wish that there's a way to fix this without having to reinstall the simulator because I have too many settings to customize and quite a few profiles that took a long time to create and perfect. If this has happened to anyone and/or you have any ideas on how to solve it, I would really appreciate the input. Thanks!
  11. Hi Natman1965, I'm not. And actually, on the prop planes I have an additional issue with the starter! As soon as I launch the plane, the ignition stays on an endless loop flickering between "Both" and "Start". And no matter what I do, I cannot stop it from this loop. I cannot change it to "L" or "R" or command it to any specific position. It just fans back and forth between "Both" and "Start". Fortunately, other than the annoying constant clicking, it doesn't affect the flying, so I learned to live with it. Even when I use the Honeycomb Yoke switches, it doesn't change anything(and there's no conflict on the Honeycomb assignments.) Mario
  12. Hope someone can shed some light on a problem that I'm having with all my prop planes(not the Turbo Props or Jets.) After launching any of them, almost right away I get an alert on the G1000 screen saying that I'm on "Standby Batt" and 2 minutes later as I takeoff, the screens go blank. I have a Honeycomb Yoke. So, no matter what switches I toggle regarding the Avionics Bus or the Master Batt, makes a difference. I even went into the Controls Menu of the Honeycomb Yoke to see if there was a conflict, but found none. I usually fly the C-172 or the Bonanza. I am at a loss, anyone that may shed some light on this, would be much appreciated. Thanks. Mario
  13. Hi domer787, I agree, and the sad part is that, at least from my experiences, you still have the floating in the flare, plus the new problem of sinking to the ground....
  14. Yes I did, and they appear fine. As far as calibrating in the game, I cannot after Patch 2. The sensitivities and null zones are gone for now. Also, there is no problem with the yoke pitch at any other stage of flight. It still responds perfectly as it did before Patch 2, it only acts up when you are slow and in low power settings (which is usually on final approach) and this, 'turns out bad'. Thanks for your input though, Kapitan, much appreciated.
  15. Same thing happens to me. The only way I have been able to get around it where right G1000 doesn't go blank is to toggle the Master Batt & Bus 1 switches a couple of times. This usually resolves the issue. I'm using a Honeycomb Yoke, by the way.
