  1. Good story, and a fine ending. Thanks for the entertainment....
  2. Off topic, but I ran into the old problem of bringing one Carenado plane on top of another, flying FSX. Flew a King Air B200 right after a Caravan and ended up with a non-working ILS, and landed about 5 feet underground, making for an unmovable plane. Hmmm. At least gasoline in the cockpit has a more realistic solution, but gotta see what you are gonna do … (-:
  3. I fly the steam gauge Caravan in FSX, both the cargo and passenger versions quite a bit. Appreciate the detail...
  4. While, I am a readin' and enjoying the story. Little ragged here, I appreciate the action and love the aviation detail. Typing with one hand, and slurping my coffee. Surgery on my left arm on Monday but hanging in there.... Still able to fly, but one hand adds a new level of difficulty...
  5. Been in flight sim since about 1984. I don't know how long I have been here, but it was sometime around 2000. I don't make a lot of comments, and was a real busy guy when I was working. I notice I uploaded a file in 2004 (search on polyb to find it). Now I am working on a large freebee flightsim database thing for FSX based in the US and Canada. When I get the database for msfs 2020 it will work as well...
  6. Enjoyed reading your post. I may be stuck as well, but in FSX. I just can't bring myself to try MSFS 2020. Too much scenery and painted planes to lose. So, awaiting you next story...
  7. Having spent a huge amount of time on 2D panels, I have to say the same. It is fun to tweak them, something that is harder to do with the 3D panels. Hope you have a good time with the Arrow...
  8. Caught my eye, with those great shots of a grand old plane. Spend a lot of time in FS9, brings back memories...
  9. Writing to an old post, but just wanted to say that I went through all the flightsim products from subLogic through FSX, which I am currently using. I enjoyed them all, but have spent more time with FSX than anything else...although FS2004 was dang close. Enjoy your comments and hope to become more active on the forums, now that I have the time... Best regards, Jim Bertelson
