  1. Spend a little more and get a reputable brand. I've had good luck with Western Digital and Samsung.
  2. I already own the ORBX one so I guess I'll disable the other. Thanks!
  3. I'd guess this is related to your in-sim settings. Go to your "Options" tab and select "Controls." You should be able to reset and reassign axes from there.
  4. Easy. Create a profile for the JU52 and bind the left 3 levers to throttles 1-2-3 and the right three to the respective mixtures. Name the profile "Tante Ju" or whgatever and save it. If you search the web, you can find extra levers to give you correct color coding or just buy a set from Honeycomb. Yes, the old gal really should have her own profile.
  5. It is a much reported bug after the last update. The work around is to set a keybind to "Toggle head tracker" in your controls menu. At least you can quickly reset it until Asobo gets around to a fix.
  6. It's not my DL speed that's the problem (+/- 40 Mb/s). It's the overloaded MS servers. I'm currently getting 2.4 Mb/s. Pathetic!
  7. That particular file is HUGE. Just walk away and let it run. It will DL eventually, at least it did for me.
  8. The offending file was a Luftwaffe variant of the JU-52, "Ju 52 4V+HL." The file contained a corrupt Manifest.JSON file. It has been corrected at Flightsim.TO according to the publisher.
  9. Resolved! The problem was with one of several items in Community folder. Once I isolate the offending file I'll send it to cyber hades. Thanks!
  10. Hi Y'all, I 'm in need of some friendly advice on the best instrument to use for doing fine adjustments on a PC running MSFS. Yesterday I downloaded and installed some freeware aircraft and the "Nordics" update from MS. Now when I go to load the sim, I get an endless "Checking for Updates" screen, and the sim will not load. I've disabled the freeware but to no avail, leaving me in need of advice on the proper adjustment tool. At present, my options are as follows 1) Double bit Woodsmans axe 2) 8 lb. Splitting Maul 3) Stihl 18" Chain Saw w/carbon steel blade. 4) 00 Buckshot delivered via Remington 870 12ga. pump. Ideally, 1/2 pound of C4 would do the job nicely but it's just not practical in my neighborhood. All suggestions considered. So much for my warped sense of humor. Any help with the issue is appreciated. Thanks, Rex
  11. Freeware: https://flightsim.to/file/7349/spacex-boca-chica-launch-site
  12. The older files are NOT compatible with the new update. Make sure you have removed all the previous seasons folders. Then reinstall/reactivate only the season you wish to fly currently. Bijan has a thread on the official MSFS forum. He is very good at addressing issues with his product. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/c/third-party-addon-discussion/scenery-packs/219
