  1. I did finally get it all together. I believe my issue was two-fold in that I had already done some updating on MPTO before, and my error was attaching more ramp to the existing ramp but was considerably off on the land altitude which threw me off approx 10-15 feet. I simply deleted ALL ramp / tarmac and re-drew the updated current tarmac layout. Looks awesome now. Thank you for your input and advice! Bob
  2. Greetings Flyers... I am trying to add / extend ramp to Panama Tocumen MPTO for terminal expansion. Auto Gen (trees and plants) are removed, but I'm not getting an evenly flat surface in the new polygons. I executed the following procedure: (ADE 176.6715) Airport Background Flatten Mass Class Map Exclude AutoGen Alt 144.9 Been awhile since I've done one of these. I appreciate any advice on this... Thanks! Bob
  3. I've converted Berlin Schoenfeld to Berlin Brandenburg (EDDB) with ADE, and now ready to disable Berlin Tegel (EDDT) all together. My question is how to move all Tegel flights (WOAI) over to Brandenburg. My first thought was to delete Tegel, move the EDDT ICAO code to Brandenburg and re-assign EDDB with EDDT, but I don't want to lose the correct code for Brandenburg, so I'm open to any suggestions or ideas on how I can make a clean switch of EDDT flights over to EDDB without changing the proper ICAO code @ Brandenburg. Thank you.
  4. UPDATE! As always. I share everything with my wife, and my initial post is no exception. She thought it was funny, yet agreeing there was a little bit of truth to it... she immediately said: "Honey, I have to remind you of the kids and grandkids birthdays all the time, with or without flight sim!" Yep... she's right! She loved reading the replies from all of you and can't wait for me to teach her to fly in FS2020. She does very well in FSX, but still needs more practice landing in inclement weather (winds, rain, and limited visibility). I told her she'll be "certified" in MS2020. Dominic... Dawn (my wife) loved the tea and biscuits scene. My immediate reaction was to say "Grab me a Pepsi and a Hostess Cupcake and let's go flying!" She just rolled her eyes (laughing) and said "You need to find another hobby...quickly!" :)
  5. Last week (Monday), I told my wife about MFS2020 and that I pre-ordered the Premium Deluxe for $119.99 that is scheduled to be released on Aug 18. Her reaction was the same as FSX, 2004, 2000, 98, and 95 - "Oh... Ok... well I won't be seeing much of you for awhile, so I'll remind you of the kids and grandkids birthdays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas!"-pause- "So does this mean I'll be eating dinner alone for the next 6 months too?" I know there are probably at least a couple of you fellow simmers out there who totally understand and agree. :D After a wonderful 33 year airline career, my wife is totally cool with my flight sim hobby and happy that I survived to retire healthy... but she hates it when a new version arrives, although she thought the video previews on YouTube were really cool.
  6. I have used ADE in FSX extensively keeping airports updated. I was thinking about ADE this morning while watching a YouTube update on MFS2020. I had this very same thought 15+ years ago with FSX regarding being able to update / add and remove airports. My novice guess would be that ADE will be available at some point (if not readily available at release) once the bugs are all worked out. We've been through this scenario before with every new release of Flightsim. My only thought today with this is that I'm guessing we'll be paying for things like ADE, addon aircraft, and aircraft paint kits, etc. through Microsoft. I hope we'll continue to see freeware on this website from the outstanding developers who have given us years of excellent aircraft, airport addons, etc. with MFS2020. MFS2020 looks like real deal. Can't wait.
