  1. Nels Anderson, Thank you for your response. I appreciated hearing from someone directly involved. I did saw the Store FlightSim's news announcement and it did not offered an explanation on the reason that led to the break up. However, today, I realized that the reason for the break up did not really matter to me in the long run. I suspected that might be a reason for your not sharing what happened to the public. Instead, it is how this was handled by FlightSim.com that that I realized I find unsettling. From the breakup to the creation of the Store FlightSim, there wasn't any communication to the customers that I saw. Nothing on the front page. FSPilotShop.com's button simply went missing. I had to dig into this forum for answers, which wasn't much at the time. There should have been a new webpage in the place of the former location of FSPilotShop.com link/button, explaining the situation and pointing out that I could still find my stuff at FSPilotShop.com if I google for the store. I had a lot of investments into FSPilotShop.com and finding it gone from FlightSim.com was a great source of stress for me that day. Please communicate with your customers the next time something major has happened or will happen. A tweet, a front page article, etc, anything except the silence. Thank you for clearing up the confusion in the store's names. I did not realized there were two stores with similar names. Flightsimstore.com not paying their vendors was what prompted me to write this post because that's a behavior I do not wish to support. With that in mind, everywhere I saw Flightsim store in this context, it was natural and very easy for me to think that Store Flightsim was the one being referenced here. It made for a bad impression on a newly created online store. I'm sure I won't be the last one to make this mistake. I suggested renaming the store to something more unique so flightsimstore.com's troubles do not have a direct impact on Store FlightSim's reputation. By the way, congratulations on having your own online store! I wish you all the best lucks.
  2. What happened? Did I missed something? The lack of explanation or communication on the break up of the FSPilotShop.com and FlightSim.com, both of which I've been a long time member of, have bought several products from the former, have downloaded many many megabytes worth of files from the latter, is unsettling. Here in this forum, I find the lack of answers to similar inquires as mine unsatisfactory and unsettling. Are such posts being deleted by the mods here? I have not bought anything from FSPilotShop.com since the breakup. And now we have a brand new store. It came into existence without any explanations. I have not create an account with this store. Else where, I am seeing several reports from different sources that have stated the new Store FlightSim are not paying their monthly fees to third-party vendors/creators for several months, while Store FlightSim continues to sell their products during those time. If this is true, that is very unsettling news to hear. I wish to continue supporting Flightsim.com, I wish to support FSPilotShop.com, and I'll welcome Store FlightSim, too. But at the moment, none of the actions taken by all the involved parties have inspired or regained my confidence in them. Can someone clear this up?
  3. P3Dv4.2 compatibility check: it'll fly. Gauges seems to be in working order. But holy cow, the cockpit is so glossy!! Hope to see a P3D-native NOAA WP-3D some days.
  4. P3Dv4.2 compatibility check: it'll fly. Gauges seems to be in working order. Starting the engines with Ctrl-E is a little glitchy for me. But holy cow, the cockpit is so glossy!!
  5. I gave this aircraft a try in my copy of P3Dv4.2 and, sadly, it didn't worked. Just an invisible aircraft when loaded up. I hope Milton Shupe and his team will give this aircraft an update so it'll work in P3Dv4.2.
  6. Excellent model with detailed and functional virtual cockpit. A worthy download!
  7. Head up: this one has no virtual cockpit.
  8. NOTE: This update's 'readme.txt' will overwrite FSDS_T-6.ZIP's 'readme.txt' if you unzip/copy straight into the T-6G folder. The instruction in starting this plane is in the first 'readme.txt' but not in this update's 'readme.txt'. You'll need the instruction if you haven't flown FSDS_T-6.ZIP yet.
  9. This plane is absolutely a joy to use! Easily top five best free FSX airplanes for me. For me, flight dynamics will either make or break the model and this plane's flight dynamic is one of the best around. It flies with much authority and its controls are stable and predictable (my yoke sensitivity in FSX Settings is set high at 100 for crisp responses). And those two turbine engines, the power they hold are immense but not overwhelming. Water operation is a bit tricky to do since FSX didn't do a good job of modeling this accurately but this plane did well in the water. It definitely need the water rudder to control it in the water. I especially enjoyed seeing the water dripping/spray still following the plane after a water take off. That's something I have not seen before in a MSFS seaplane. The interior (both cockpit and the passenger area) and external details are detailed and exquisite. I recommended adding at least one passenger viewpoint. The panel, both 2D and especially the 3D/VC is well done. I do have one complaint; the white-lit buttons in the top console in the virtual cockpit are too bright and distracting for me during night time flying, being right in front of the pilot's face. And finally, the post-engine-shutdown details make it all the more sweeter for me. All in all, outstanding job on this one! I like planes that make me work for it to have successful flights and this one does it. And thanks for the cigars, too! :-)
  10. Issues: In the VC/3D, the R1/R2 button in DME radio and all of the normal buttons/dials in the Comm/Nav radio doesn't worked for me. I can change on the 3D/VC's radio numbers directly and the radios worked fine in the 2D main panel. Hope someone can suggest a fix. (FSX-Steam/DX9) Other than that, this plane was a real treat! Lot of details.
  11. I was pleasantly surprised to find the '062' liveries included in this one, both the in-progress restoration version and the dark-navy-blue paint version! The Attu Warior's livery/model was extra bonus point for me. If you're into WW2 aviation history and/or restoration, here is the super super super long thread on finding and restoring the '062': http://warbirdinformationexchange.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=38160&sid=414f234f0e9a8e43855c22552cb857be To the makers of this plane, will you consider also doing the final '101' fire tanker livery as shown on the first page of the aforementioned thread? Faded/peeling paint, faded aluminum skin, bee hive, missing dials/holes in the panel, taped up hole on the nose, leather peeling off steering wheels, dents, rusts, stains, etc. Hopefully, both interior and exterior. Probably a huge job and a new entire model so I'll be happy with just the exterior livery to go with your 37 (another surprise! 062's early fire tanker livery; harptankfsx.zip). If you like this plane, be sure to check out their pv1fsx.zip and fsxlodestar.zip, too. Their famous FS9 Howard 500 (hw5vc4.zip) will also work in FSX-Steam if you install the FSX prop texture fix (howard_fsx.zip). Excellent work on all of them!
  12. Love the updates! Worked well in my FSX-Steam/DX9.
