  1. I loaded up my old FSX and the taxi steering is working as it should there. The problem appears to be with P3Dv4.5. I just reinstalled it using the repair option. It did not fix the taxi problem.
  2. This problem just started today. I know about the EZDoc thing with turning off the fuselage shake, it's not that. I have tried 3 different aircraft all do the same thing. I don't think it's my stick because I have 3 of them and the problems is there no matter which one I use. The rudder works fine in the air and You can see it move if viewing from the outside. Also with the A2A Comanche I can see the nose wheel steering but the plane goes straight. I have re-calibrated the joysticks, it didn't help. I don't know what else to check.
  3. It seems simple enough. You start it and then stop it. Then play it back. Is there more to it than that. I did go over the instructions in the Help tab. It had some complicated looking information but it didn't seem that I needed to do anything with it. Am I all wrong on this?
  4. Does the flight recorder in P3Dv4.5 work? Every time I try to use it to record a portion of a flight then play the recording back the plane just slowly circles and descends until in hits the ground. The recording has the correct weather and scenery but the actual flight path differs significantly from what the recording shows. Does it work or am I doing it wrong?
  5. Problem Solved, Again. This time I am certain that I'm right. The roll over problem is due to the effects of the Horizon Hold in EZCA. I set a switch on my throttle unit to turn it off If I have the need to toll the aircraft. So far the fix is working great. Apparently no one else has ever experienced this issue, but if they do I hope they find this thread. Thanks for all the replies and suggestions. I hope no one ever has the hear about this issue again.

  7. Today I made a major discovery. It turns out that the problem doesn't have anything to do with Deadzones after all. The problem returned so I tried a few other things. I use EZCA v2 and started using it at almost the same time I got the X56 controller. So today I loaded up the sim without EZCA and I was able to do a normal roll and fly inverted. I loaded up EZCA and the problem returned. I don't know what part of EZCA is causing the problem though. I have tried turning on and off various settings and none of them stopped the roll over problem. I have tried turning EZCA on and off several times and when it's off no roll over problem when it's on problem returns. Now that we know this does anyone have any ideas about what part of EZCA could be causing this? I really like using EZCA and would like to find out if there is a setting causing this problem.

  9. Well, as mentioned above, I have 2 of these X56 systems and both of them do the same thing. I don't think sending them back would solve the problem. With a deadzone of 30 everything seems to be fine. I always believed that deadzones would increase delayed action so I always had mine at either 0 or less than 5. As it turns out there is no noticeable delay. I am now realizing that it actually smooths out the action of the controls to a more realistic feel.
  10. The problem has been solved. Someone on the FSX-SE forum suggested that I increase my joystick dead zones to a higher setting like 30. So I did this and sure enough the roll anomaly was fixed. I tried several aircraft and they all worked correctly. WooHoo!

  12. Yes this happens with all aircraft that can fly fast enough to do an aileron roll. It only happens with my X56 joystick. I also have an X52 and flying inverted or doing a roll is not a problem. Also to make things even stranger. If I make a video using OBS the playback shows the inversion or roll in perfect form. If I play back the roll using the instant replay in FSX or P3D the problem shows there as in live flight. ???
  13. Surely there must be some forum member who uses an X56 for flight simulation. I can't be the only one. Can I?
  14. I can't believe there is no one using the X56 flight system in FSX or P3D. If anyone has an X56 please respond to this post. I am getting desperate.
  15. I have two X56 flight control systems and they are both having the same problem. I would like to find another X56 user to discuss this with. Here is the deal. When I try to fly inverted the plane will not stay in the inverted position. It immediately flips out of that position causing some lose of control and disorientation. The same thing happens when trying to do a roll. As soon as it gets inverted the plane flips out. If I slow the simulation rate to the slowest I can see it snapping out of the inverted position. I have contacted Logitech support but they do not have an FSX or P3D program they can test this with and without them seeing it in action I don't believe we will ever come to a solution. If I could make an Mp3 video of the problem in action maybe they could play that, but I don't know how to do that. If there is an X56 simmer reading this please respond. Thanks
