  1. Commercial Level Sim has a free 'Lite' Piper Arrow for download. It's both FS9 and FSX, which means it's likely a port from FS9. Search on 'commercial level simulations piper arrow'
  2. Try installing the AppCrashView app. After the crash open it and see what it indicates. Could just be the API.DLL crash that seems to plague some of us.
  3. I moved FSX Gold to Windows 11 several months ago in an attempt to resolve an API.DLL crash problem what started after some Windows 10 updates. Unfortunately, it didn't completely resolve the issue, but some steps I took lessened it. Not everyone using FSX with Windows 10 or 11 has those issues and a potential remedy has been suggested. I haven't had enough time to test it, so can't say if it's a fix or not. Anyway, I've had no issues different than updated Windows 10. Yes there are some things Windows 11 does that I don't like, but most I've been able to get around. I would suggest if you choose to update, download RUFUS and use that to upgrade. It allows you to bypass things such as force Windows logon, etc.
  4. The first thing I would check is if your modified airport is actually being loaded. Where did you place it? Is that location listed in scenery.cfg?
  5. P3D4 is a 64-bit flight simulator from Lockheed - Martin based on the same code as FSX. Their previous 32-bit versions used the same file and folder structure as FSX so, I would assume that P3D4 does also. I should note, that there is at least one YouTube video showing how to convert FSX aircraft for MSFS, but it doesn't seem to be easy or without issues.
  6. As for the Embraer 145 I don't know, but am doubtful due to MSFS folder and file structures and such being radically different than P3D. As for working in Windows 11. Yes. I currently have the Steam version, but previously played with the XBox games pass version.
  7. Yep, but the only file I edit is the aircraft's aircraft.cfg file when I add or delete liveries. BTW, once you're sure the base install is stable and doesn't crash then you can start to add your aircraft. Just do it one at a time, so you can identify where the issue is and remove the offending add-on without having to refresh your system again.
  8. Hmm... Next step would be to have Steam validate your files and fix any that are possibly damaged. Here's the steps from Steam; https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/0C48-FCBD-DA71-93EB I would then not alter any of the files if you're using Aircraft Airfile Manager to do so. I wish there was a one step fix all, but since you've had problems with both the boxed version and now Steam I would get rid of any modifications and addons and run just the 'unmodified' base install and see how it performs.
  9. It won't fix your issue, but try installing AppCrashView. It's free and essentially a way to look into the Events log. It might give you some indication of what generated the crash if you open it after the crash.
  10. Not sure if you're still looking but flyawaysimulation.com has a WOAI package listed. I guess you have to get the whole thing to see if NWA is included.
  11. Don't think so. At least I haven't had any luck with my copy. The website is shut down and it appears the author no longer supports the product or has a presence on the Internet. You might take at look at SimElite Solution's Real Time Fight Manager as an alternative. I have it installed, but haven't played with it. It's not a complete replacement for FS Real Time, but might be an acceptable substitute since it works in Steam.
  12. I have a second 'data' drive, so I moved the Steam Library to it. The files are still deep, but not to the level of the default install.
  13. Yep, that's a stumper.. Sorry you'll have to endure the hassle, but maybe a solution will pop up.. Best of luck..
  14. What other addons? If you delete only the Addon Scenery\Miami City X folder and the Miami City X entry in scenery.cfg, then no other addons should be affected unless you accidently installed them in the Miami City X folder. Also, you should only have one Miami City X entry in scenery.cfg, unless you followed my now proven 'wrong' advice to use the install program to uninstall. in which case you might end up with duplicate entries.
  15. Well, I just tried my advice.. Complete and utter failure. Doing what I suggested resulted in nothing being done. Looks like the only way this scenery is going is by a manual uninstall. Not hard to do and it's required by most free scenery, but it might leave a few files other folders if any were placed by the scenery.
