Tower view of my aircraft (any) shows simply a shadow on the ground. Any fixes?

All going really well for years! Then, suddenly, I've lost VC. On any VC aircraft screen now shows what you might say is see-through to objects in front. Any suggestions before I dive in blind greatly welcomed.

Sorry, bit hasty. FSX Accel. Downloads from fltsim library. VC not always mentioned in description, but I check panel.cfg before download. I look for script to include Virtual Cockpit lines. On screen, 'A' for VC moves to show the front scenery, no panel. -
Great downloads here but I often get no VC, even when the panel.cfg file shows vc lines. Any ideas out there?

Thanks, but why all the references to 'VC'? From the description to the panel.cfg and the aircraft.cfg. There's even a 'panel.vc' folder.

I just downloaded the new Project Airbus 321, ignoring the missing '98 gauges, I can't get the VC panel. The 'panel.cfg' has VC lines. I've renamed the panel (VC) in 'aircraft.cfg' without luck. Am I doing something wrong?
